I think 1.25 might be a bit nicer, but I tend to worry about things clunky around on my finger if they’re bigger.  Is there a store in your area that you could try both sizes on to get a feel in person?  It really helped me make my decision and helped me see actual size on my finger. ๐Ÿ™‚

sparklesauce:  where I live it’s pretty big and I get a lot of comments. That makes me feel a bit uncomfortable just because I’m shy and my style is otherwise very low key and modest. I have a bigger finger though so I love the way it looks! Plus it’s an exact replica of my grandmothers ring (except in white instead of yellow gold) which I have been admiring since I was a small child. My Fiance says it’s a stone I can grow into haha!

I voted 1.5 because go big or go home!  Although I’m sure either would be good.  Here’s mine.  Although not a solitaire, it is in the middle at 1.39.  I’m a size 6.5

RoseAdore:  Thank you! I sent him some options but let him choose the final setting and center stone. He did awesome – I love it too!

sparklesauce:  I am pretty introverted and don’t like a lot of attention.  I feel (for me), it’s the perfect size.  It’s big enough to have lots of sparkle and finger coverage, but not so big that it looks ostentatious and attracts TOO much attention.  Does that make sense???

sparklesauce:  Thank you. It sparkles so so much and I absolutely love it! I can’t stop starting at it – especially since I just got it on Saturday ๐Ÿ™‚
