@nycsa:  Sapphire, I’m afraid. I had originally wanted a blue diamond, but a sapphire was more affordable and my Fiance likes the darker blue better. He was really sad when he realized that aquamarine (my birthstone & the month we met, too) doesn’t always look blue.

I bet your ring is gorgeous, though!

1 ct center, .35 ct side stones, .20 pave stones on the band and I think my ring size is an 8.5

@IheartUFC:  1.02 carat on size 5.5 finger, and I think it’s just the perfect size:

My center diamond is 1.21 carats on a jeweler-classified, size 6 finger (but I ordered a 6.5 to allow for comfort when my fingers are swollen.)

Here is a picture of it in natural lighting, followed by one that I took under the jewelry-store lighting, right after my rings had just been polished and cleaned:

    I don’t have a 1 carat, but I’ve always thought it’s the perfect size.

I also think it can look larger depending on the setting.  If you get a wide setting, I think it makes the stone look smaller while a thin setting makes it look larger.

1.00 carat princess cut center with another .47 carat on the band on size 8.5. I think 1 carat is the perfect size IMO.

Where in the world do all you women live? I never see any rings like this where I’m from. They’re all so gorgeous.

You’ve seen mine, my center stone is 1.01 (or 1.02), and my finger size is 4.75-5 (depends on weather). I think 1ct is a very good size not too big or too small. I personally prefer full finger coverage so set this diamond in a 3-stone style.

I’m asking bcuz I’m looking at a great deal online for a 11 Round Brilliant diamonds band. If you don’t mind sharing, how many carat is ur Wband? Thanks in advance.

Here’s my 1.04 carat cathedral pave e ring on size 6.75 finger.  Can’t get a picture to show how it really sparkles.  I love it.  I think yours is so feminine, elegant.  It’s gorgeous.  You can’t go wrong with the size shown or the bigger size you’re deciding on.  Sorry pic is so huge.

1.05 ct diamond on a size 6 finger. I think it’s just right. I tried on our jeweler’s wife’s ring (1.27 ct) and it seemed a little big but beautiful.
