PMy ring is sized at H1/2 which is equivalent to 4.5, but it’s about a quarter to half a size too big and can fall off if the weathers too cold. Most of the time it’s perfect as I prefer it a bit loose, but doesn’t spin. The first two pics are of my ring, 0.95 carat d vvs1 (about 6.3mm diameter) on a 2.5mm band, tapers in a bit to 2mm width at the middle. I’ve noticed it photographs bigger in some pictures compared to others. The last pic is of the demo ring I tried in store which was 1 carat, or about 6.5mm width. I think it’s the perfect size! Though if it were say 0.1 carat bigger I suppose my arm could be twisted… but the price jump is huge at that weight range

ellybee89 :  the ring size charts I’ve looked at say the 4 1/2 US is I 1/2 UK. And that H 1/2 is 4. Which is right? I wear 4 1/2 and am planning to order a spacer ring from a UK Etsy store so this really matters to me.

It isn’t a solitare BUT it’s a 4.5 size finger and 1 ct round 🙂

nykkee :  I’m not sure. Before I was 100% positive that H 1/2 was equivalent to 4 1/2 (maybe the jeweller told me?) but now I’m seeing size 4 on the Blue Nile size chart, and 4 1/4 from a lot of other internet sources/charts. Mine is an Australian size H 1/2, but it should be the same as the UK. It’s probably 4 1/4 and maybe some places round down to size 4 if they don’t specify down to quarter sizes. Good luck with your order! A size I to I 1/2 should be fine

Hope this helps!

katml :  It’s from Gatsby Jewells in the UK. They have an Etsy shop with some droolworthy pieces, you should totally check it out if you love antiques/vintage! Super awesome and very nice sellers that I highly recommend!
