Ohh I love it!!! I’d have a hard time Parting with that one lol

Ive been obsessed with pears forever. We are in a slightly better place in our lives than when we were engaged 3 years ago, I’m extremely grateful and excited to have my dream ring!

I love your amethyst ring! It’s gorgeous! I almost went with an amethyst for my engagement ring but was a little worried about how it would hold up to every day wear but they are such beautiful stones.longtimemrs :

My favorite ring pictures (mostly because my nails don’t look awful!):

hikingbride :  Thanks so much! My purple stone is a spinel. But I chose it because the color is similar to amethyst. I also love that stone (amethyst), both for color and because it’s my husband’s birthstone. But I was afraid it wouldn’t hold up well to everyday wear. I can be tough on my jewelry, so I wanted the extra peace of mind from a harder stone.

In the end, though, I probably could have gone with an amethyst. Since it’s an anniversary ring and not something I got married with, I would not feel bad if I had to change out the stone — other than the hassle of getting a new one set.

I always LOVE seeing your beautiful sapphire. Such a perfect blue! *.*
