Let me start off by saying that I am SO not a high heel person! I would wear boots, flip flops, sneakers and ballet flats ANY day of the week over high heels! But regardless, I wanted to find the perfect pair of heels for what I hope will be my perfect day :). I decided to check out DSW recently and found a great pair of ivory satin heels with a ruffle in the front for $49.95. Not bad, I thought, but I wanted to check out the clearance section anyway. Well good thing I did because I found a pair of shoes that basically looks identical to the picture below (I can’t remember the name brand of the shoes – they are at my mother’s – but I remember 100% of what they look like) at DSW, size 6.5 for… $15.54 (that’s after tax!) Normally $89.95, and I only paid $15.54! Don’t know you love when you budget a certain amount of money for something and you get off with the bargain of the century?? This was the exact type of shoes I was looking for too (low heels, slingback for ankle support, ivory with a peep toe and simple embellishments)!
I want to hear other bees stories of having landed a fabo deal for their wedding shoes (or anything wedding related, even though we’re on the shoe board :D)

FREE- yup that’s right!
I’m getting married at a location Fiance and I go hiking with our dog, so I thought it would be super cute to wear a pair of white hiking boots under my dress. A quick google search brought me to the cutest hiking boots I’ve ever seen. I found the manufacturer online and e-mailed them. As it turnes out, the company is local to me. I e-mailed the company to find out where I can get a pair to wear for my wedding. Unfortunately, the white were discontinued, so the sales rep tracked a pair down from a retailer in China who had my size left over from last season, so she had them sent to me! What awesome customer service. All she asked in return were photos of the boots with my wedding dress!
