I have a sapphire and I am so happy with it! I’m told that sapphires are actually more traditional than diamonds–it was De beers who pushed the diamond engagement ring movement here. I like diamonds too, but I think the blue is rather stunning. Cheers!

sweet!  i love my blue e-ring… it was my inspiration for the color scheme of our wedding party attire and my dress, and it came together beautifully!  everyone thinks it is so unique when they see it, and i’m glad my ring is just a little different!

They are very pretty….I do own a sapphire surrounded in diamonds but not as my e-ring.  I guess maybe I’m just too traditional but I couldn’t imagine wearing a colored stone on my left hand.

Sapphire center, thin diamond halo and another halo of lighter sapphires. I LOVE IT! I hadn’t wanted a diamond and most of his family had a really hard time accepting my decision to buck the “diamond” trend. But now, they tell everyone how unique and special the ring is. It really is.
