Hey brides and brides-to-be! I am planning a candy buffet for my wedding. I will have about 100 guests. So far I have 6 candy jars, some really pretty silver scoops, and cute take-out containers (frosted w/white polka dots from papermart.com). I would like to know how many jars you think I should get, and how much candy I should buy.. is there a system to figuring it out?? Haha. Also, show me pics of your completed candy buffets or your buffets in the works!

I had abuot 6 jars I think and i did it cheaply by not colour coordinating it. I got all the candy from Super store, walmart and costco and cost me about 70.00 I had 100 guests and TONS of leftovers!!! 🙂 [attachment=1451591,184061]

i got around 50 lbs of candy for 200 people. not a lot of people were going to the table, but somehow we only had about 2 lbs left over–the hard candies. i think we put out 8 jars. the gummy candy was the most popular. get tons and tons of gummi bears!

I have 15 different jars and heard that I should calculate 1/2 lb to 1/4 lb per guest. I made a list of all the candy I will have and in which jar. This weekend I am starting to work on the candy signs. Oh I almost forgot I am expecting about 100-130.
