@pretzel:  So happy for you!

@ecomaha:  I just read your update about your disappointing appointment with the Creighton doctor.  Girl, I am so, so sorry.  I can’t give you any advice, but I will definitely be keeping you and your husband in my prayers.

Thanks for the info.  We’re still in limbo as far as whether we’re proceeding with Creighton or trying to see what the doctor’s here can do for us (I highly, highly doubt they can give us any help, since the doctor didn’t even order bloodwork on the right day.  My very sore and bruised arms keep reminding me today.)  DH wanted a week to think about it and now that harvest is finished, we’ll probably be discussing this and deciding shortly.

I’m 3dpo and already planning for the next cycle.  I have been really sad and discouraged lately.  I think I need to get the book that

If this cycle is a bust, I’m going to be ordering the FertileCM, FertilAid for Men and Women, and probably the FertiliTea.  I can’t get the Royal Jelly stuff here in Canada, so I hope it’s not too important.  I don’t know if I really need the FertileCM since I had 10(!) days of EWCM.  I don’t think it was really any different than any other cycles, just that I was being more observant every single time I went to the bathroom.

@ecomaha:  Heyy I am going to order this cook book and thought it might help you out as well. It had good reviews. Trying to find gluten free dairy free ways to eat on your own can be overwhelming!

Update for me. Still waiting for the Dcctor to call me back with a surgery date. Kind of unsure what to do because I really like my doctor and think it will be beneficial to to have my doctor do my surgery since if we end up having some problems conceiving it would be nice for her to know me best and what everything looked like during surgery. BUT there is a new kind of lap they are doing now which is robotic, it is the most cuting edge technology so I am wondering if I should go for th at instead of an original lap. My doctor doesn’t do that but someone else in her practice does so I am wondering if I should ask about him doing it?

@mrs.stormylove:   I would definitely suggest the robotic lap.  It’s much more precise, less pain and less recovery.  That is the type that Creighton/Napro doctors do and luckily it was what my doctor did before I was doing the Creighton method.  Good luck!! πŸ™‚

Wow…. we’ve been pretty quiet since Pretzel got KU! πŸ™‚   Nothing really new is going on with me.  I’ve O’d and now I’m really trying to put it out of my mind.  I still haven’t figured out what is a good amount of CM so I’m not sure how it looks this month.  I had 6 peak days before my actual Peak so I guess we’ll see.

Just a quick update for me, if there is even anyone still out there on this thread besides me πŸ™‚

Cross posted from 1 year + :  I feel like yesterday was Christmas – we found out that my lap was covered by my insurance!!  Granted we still have to pay the deductible but that isn’t bad at all!  But now I’m wondering if we should do the blood tests since we will have already met the deductible for me.  The only thing is… again…. we don’t know 100% that it will be covered!  So I just called to see if we could do the tests in 3 groups (that is how they are seperated) instead of in one big $2800 one.  We could do the thyroid first and see how that turns out.  It’s $237,  Follicular is $450 and the Luteal is $2115.  I’m going to see if my Creighton instructor/friend’s insurance covered those and what company she has.  I’m just sooooo relieved about the lap.  Honestly, I feel like my depression/anxiety/stress about TTC is gone.  For the time being :))  Now I can go to LA and REALLY celebrate and not have this weight on my shoulders!

@ecomaha:  I’m still here!  I’ve just been making myself scarce on WB this week. πŸ™‚

I am so thrilled for you, my dear! That is awesome, awesome news about the lap!  Yay!  I would definitely look into the blood tests split up the way you’ve outlined above.  That way if you find out the first one is covered, you can go ahead with the others.

I haven’t had a chance to email you back yet, but I hope you have WONDERFUL weekend in LA with your DH.  My Mom keeps telling me that–take advantage of spending time and doing stuff with your husband that won’t be as easy/possible once you have kids.  It’s true–we’re going to end up with kids whether biologically or through adoption, so I am trying to treasure our time too. πŸ™‚  We are doing a movie date night out this weekend.  It’s been eons since we’ve done something like that!

I’m 11dpo today and cannot wait for this TWW to be over and done with.  Yeste

rday was a BFN so I’m just waiting for my temperature to start dropping tomorrow. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/376ebb

@MrsFarmer:  GIRL!!  I know you don’t want to get all excited but –  your chart looks great!!  You’re higher than last month at this point.  Don’t count it out yet πŸ™‚  I’ll be checking on you and praying for you!  Have a fun date night with your DH – I agree – monopolize as much of his time as you can now πŸ™‚

@ecomaha:  My temp dipped down yesterday so I was sure it was starting it’s downward trend.  I shed a few tears and got myself resigned to “next cycle.”  My Mom could tell I was a bit down yesterday and brought me a gorgeous rose that really brightened my day (and she gave me a pep talk that was great too!)

I was really surprised to see my temp back up a little this morning.  I can’t let myself get excited though…the tears in DH’s eyes last night were too much. πŸ™  Gosh, sometimes I forget how hard this is on him too.  Thank you so much for the prayers! I  we  need them!

I’m keep you guys in my prayers too.  Have a fantabulous weekend together in LA!!!

@MrsFarmer:  Oh girl.  I know.  I think that is the ONE thing that keeps me from testing each month.  It’s one thing to put yourself through it but I can’t do that to him.  That’s sort of the nice thing about not temping, he and I are both in the same (blind) boat :))

@ecomaha:  Yes.  After this cycle, I am seriously contemplating put that thermometer aside until the New Year.

@MrsFarmer:  It actually might not be a bad idea.  Especially with the holidays coming up.  It might be nice to just enjoy them and be in the dark a bit πŸ™‚

@ecomaha:  Yup!  I think we’ll get our FertilAid supplements and go through the next few cycles “blind” too. πŸ™‚  I know my cycle almost like the back of my hand so there’s no worries that we’ll miss the fertile window anyways and I think it will be a relief not to think about it.  (I haven’t talked to DH yet…He really likes me temping, so I’ll have to run it by him and make sure he’s cool with it too.)
