@ecomaha:  Haha, well how about that! Hopefully you don’t need that DVD!

If you do, we can be accupressure/self massage buddies! πŸ˜‰

@MrsFarmer:  I’ll have to check out those links. I remember hearing about myan massage and was super interested in it but the thought of getting an abdominal massage sounded umbearable to me because I was in so much pain but maybe after my suregery it may be nice!

I MISS you ladies! I’ve been so terrible at keeping up with the boards, and then when I finally sign in, there are a million posts and I’m too overwhelmed to catch up. Lets see how this goes.

@ecomaha:  So glad your lap was covered by insurance. That’s such a huge relief!! Those bracelets are beautiful   – again, I’m skeptical that they ‘work’, but they’re so pretty, and its a nice reminder/promise of things to come. I’m on the lookout for a necklace; I’ve seen some beautiful infertility ones on Etsy that I might ask for for my birthday. I’m sure there are many other things to say/comment on, but I’m hopeless at remembering. Hope everything is going well with you!

@MrsFarmer:  Ugh, your chart did look great! But hey, we can be cycle buddies this time around. I started spotting this morning, which means that AF will be here by either tonight or tomorrow. So sorry it didn’t work out for you this cycle. About the acupressure/massage – I keep getting told that femoral artery massage and things like that are awesome, so I might have to check it out. Just got ‘Naturally Knocked Up’ on Amazon Kindle for free (a fantastic book!), and I know she mentions some things like that. Might be worth looking into.

@pretzel:  Oh my gosh!  I’m so sorry – I’m sure you were so scared!  Don’t you just want to punch that dr for even through MC out there – I know I would πŸ™‚  I’m glad to hear you are doing better though.  Hopefully the bedrest solves it for you!

@MrsFarmer:  I’m definitely going to try this!  I need to read it more but I think it says that you can’t do it 5 days before AF or during so I’ll have so time to read up on it! πŸ™‚

AFM, I had a little bit of a breakdown a little bit ago.  DH and I are trying to decide whether to go ahead with the blood tests the Napro Dr wants us to do.  It’s hard bc there is NO WAY to know whether insurance will pay for it or not.  Even calling in and getting the codes (which they told me are covered!) is no guarentee of payment.  It’s so annoying!  It’s pretty much up to their discretion if they want to pay it or not.  Sucks.  It’s just so hard bc it’s the difference between $500 and $3000.  Quite a big difference!  And honestly…… I just feel guilty.  I feel guilty that we spend SO MUCH money on me or supplements or blood tests or this or that.  I feel like I’m just tapping us dry and my sweet DH is just….. stuck with it.  I know he doesn’t think that AT ALL but it’s just me and I’m sure I’m PMSy.  It’s just so emotional.

All that to say…. I think we are going to do the tests.  Since we’ve met the deductible for me it’s at least worth a shot.  If we want til after the new year it’s $3000 no matter what so might as well try it.  We can’t do it this cycle coming up bc we’re going out of town next week for 6 days and I will miss some days for blood draws.  I’ll have to have 10 DAYS of blood draws for it.  Yuck.

Oh well. Hopefully you ladies are doing good today – especially you Mrs. P!!! πŸ™‚

@pretzel:  I thought that you might know the answer to this –  What I’m trying to figure out is, when we have these blood tests, will it give us a pretty good view of what’s going on or is there still MORE that we could need to do?

@pretzel:  Oh my goodness–I think my heart skipped a beat when I read that.  I was so relieved to see the part about the baby’s hearbeat.  I am praying for you and thinking about you today!  I hope bed rest gets everything back in line for you.

@MrsFarmer:  I don’t think that sounds cheesy at all.  You are such an example of faith and waiting on God’s timing.  I get so panicked sometimes and just need to breathe and trust.  I am going to try some of the self massage tips.  Thank you for sharing those!

@ecomaha:  I’m sorry about not knowing about the costs for testing and the stress it’s causing you.  Hugs!  On the plus side, is this your Disney trip coming up?  (Wait–you are going to Disneyland, right?  I’m not confusing you with someone else am I?)

@cafegirl:  Yes, we rent a cabin that has a private hot tub on the back deck.  It’s built into the mountain so it’s really private!  We got engaged there and go back every year for our anniversary πŸ™‚

@pretzel:  I’ll have a series that is my Follicular series and it’s like… CD 10, 12, 14, 16, my luteal series which is peak + 3, peak +5, peak +7, peak +9 and then my Thyroid (5 tests) which I think they just use the blood from any of the draws for?  I might be missing a couple – I don’t have my sheets right here in front of me.  What did you have run?

@redsmarties:  Nice to see you back around. πŸ™‚  I’ve tried to do the femoral artery massage, but I suck at finding the artery so it’s only worked for me like….once.  It’s actually a weird sensation because you can feel the rush of blood if you’re doing it correctly.  I may have to take the time to dedicate myself to doing it.

@cafegirl:  Thank you.  But don’t worry, I have my panic attacks and days where I don’t cooperate God’s plans very gracefully.  Then I get emotional and feeling sorry for myself and devastated that we don’t have a baby yet.  I get you.  It’s ok.  Those moments are just a reminder that God is here.  He wants us to remember that He’s the Maker of Life and will shower us with the true miracle that a baby is according to His perfect plans for us!

@ecomaha:  I’m glad you’ve decided to proceed with the blood tests.  I haven’t heard of that many days of testing before, but I’m sure it’s going to give you a great insight into what’s happening hormonally through your cycle.  Is the testing done by the NaPro centre?

Your trips sound so fun!  A romantic Colorado trip, ahhh!  And Disney World?  I’m glad you guys are taking advantage of the ease of traveling while you can. πŸ™‚
