Interesting!  I know exactly what you mean :))) There have been a couple times when I’ve been sore from working out where I literally have to throw my arm behind myself.  I’m sure it’s quite the site πŸ™‚  I might have to try that way to see if it works better.  Do you feel like you usually get your best reading before or after?

Thank you all for sharing info here!  I’m very intrigued by Napro and natural methods and will definately be following along.  I will keep this in mind as a next step if I don’t get pregnant within the next couple of months.  Oh– @ecomaha:  You shared your e-mail signature.  Mine is “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul” from Hebrews.  It’s been my signature for like 12 years!

@redsmarties:  What is the benefit of the castor oil packs?  Is it supposed to strengthen O?  I’ve never heard of anything like that procedure you described, so it seems very strange to me.  (I’m not dissing it, I promise, it’s just different.)

@beekiss:  We are Catholics and it’s precisely because of our beliefs that we have chosen to go the Napro route, since it doesn’t use traditional ART. Thanks for the good wishes!  I hope your Napro doctor can help you out with your cycle once you’re married. πŸ™‚

@elchalten:  Thanks for popping in!  We’re more than happy to have you read along, of course!

@ecomaha:  That’s one of the things I love about NaPro too–they treat the problem instead of bypassing it.  Which hopefully means that once they get us figured out, we’ll be good to go for more pregnancies in the future. πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Thanks for your input on the varying O date!  I wasn’t sure if earlier O = better or not, but I will gladly take it!  I have been trying to eat healthier and lost a bit of weight, so maybe that played a part.

@Mrs. Pretzel:   More Too Much Information but what’s new πŸ™‚  2nd day of a 10 reading.  I’m pretty excited about that after a few months struggling with darn Clomid!  I really think Clomid did me more harm than good.  It really delayed my O instead of making it earlier.

@Mrs. Pretzel:  Ha!  Isn’t that the truth!  Just when you thought TTC talked a lot about CM…. then came Creighton πŸ™‚  I personally love discussing it with my husband and then reviewing it in our follow up sessions.  AWESOME.  Undecided

@ecomaha:  Haha oh dear.  I can just see DH when those conversations start happening.  He will be like Embarassed.  Good times! πŸ˜‰

@MrsFarmer:  Really I’ve found that once you start TTC, all bets are off.  No topic is off limits. πŸ™‚  I use to think ‘I hope I don’t poo when I’m in labor…’  Now I think, really!?!?  That is the LEAST of my concerns πŸ™‚

@ecomaha:  SO true.  I totally agree.  πŸ™‚ I guess it’s good to know that we can easily broach “delicate” topics with our DHs.  If he can make it through CM talks, he can probably handle anything. πŸ™‚

@MrsFarmer:  So true!  You know he’s really serious about TTC when  you can discuss how stretchy your CM is :))  GROSS!! :))

@Mrs. Pretzel:  Oh we’re the same.  Nothing is off limits.  Being one of those ‘won’t toot in front of my husband’ wives ended about a week into our marriage πŸ™‚

All this talk about mucus cracks me up. That is the ONE aspect of TTC that hubs wants NOTHING to do with. I mentioned it once or twice and he’s like “Hon, that’s NOT the way to get me to sleep with you.” Needless to say, when he asks how I know O is coming, or what else I chart besides my temperature, I just tell him “Cause I know.”

And its funny, because ANY other topic is fair game. Just not CM ha ha.

@MrsFarmer:  My naturopath recommends castor oil packs for ME all month, every day. However, I’ve also got a lot going on other than infertility, so I think that also has something to do with it. Basically, the premise is that it helps increase blood flow to your abdomen, which works for your uterus, ovaries, liver, all those good things.
