Here is my dress! I had a wonderful experience and found my dream dress. I absolutely adore the detail and the flowiness to it. I can’t wait to get married in 4 1/2 months! Eek!

lunabelle83: It was so flattering. I’m a size 10 in the dress and street size so it definitely hid the areas I needed it to. Gotta love A-Line.

Mrs.Sawyertobe:  Aww thank you!

MrsMusicBird111:  It is an amazing dress! I received so many compliments on it. I’m sure you’ll look wonderful!

MrsMusicBird111:  Oh that is a good question…Seems like forever ago when I did all that! I can’t remember what it was called. I remember they sewed buttons and loops under the dress to bustle it. There were a lot of buttons and loops! I know that isn’t very helpful 🙁

I just had my first fitting for my DB dress and totally agree that each store has it’s own unique feel. While I love the store where I bought my dress I’m having my alterations done at a different DB.

Finished dress: ???

anhelms:  So exciting!! My DB coordinator actually picked this dress out for me to try and I fell in love with it. Are you wearing the petticoat with it?

You’re also getting married the day before me =D

Ok Bees, dont shoot me but I dont have a pic of me in the dress yet! It is away getting some alterations done on it…mainly, a deeper sweethear neckline, buttons that continue all the way down the back and some lace added to the hemline and climbing up the skirt….I loved my experience at DB! I knew which dresses I wanted to try on and knew the look I wanted before I went so that may have made all the difference, but I found the gown there and defnitely within my price range. 🙂

I loved my DB experience and gown! I’ve heard so many horror stories about their customer service and I am very fortunate that my sales associate and seamstress were both pleasant and helpful. I had a vague idea of what I wanted going in; ivory, not too puffy, not shiny; and my sales associate pulled all kinds of dresses and really helped me figure out what I liked and didn’t like.

The dress I chose was by Oleg Cassini style number CWG377.

Here’s a picture of mine in the very beginning while I was waiting to walk down the aisle, and another one after I’d been wearing it for 13 hours and had been swimming in the ocean with it & been everywhere else–meals, firepit lounge chairs, did I mention SWIMMING in the ocean? I can’t believe how it held up!

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience at David’s.

My wedding is August 2 and I ordered my dress in January.  It came in within 2 weeks of ordering!  I tried it on, and it was too short.  I’m 5’8″ and my toes were showing even without any shoes on.

I figured I was SOL, but the manager looked at it and agreed it was too short.  They checked and it came in an extra length version.  She ordered that one for me, and honored the sale price from the time I ordered the original dress.

My new dress just came in this past weekend, a month ahead of schedule!
