I LOVE that you made it a high-low. Did you make the sleeves/capelet from the train fabric? It looks so lovely!

Because of price. It was $99.00 at David’s Bridal

Yeah I started doing the accessories too, I got an awesome birdcage veil on etsy, and think I am doing earrings, no necklace! Maybe a bracelet? But my mom is so paranoid that I will pull threads in the dress if I wear a bracelet, and let’s face it I am a clutz! I think I want my hair down, you will have to let me know what you decide, and the look your are going for! It will be incredible, and of course wow your hubby-to-be!

I chose my dress because it made me feel beautiful and it was exactly what I was looking for as far as style goes. It is the Allure Romance 2710.

No, my sister actually made me a silk knitted shawl, which I’ve saved and will use at all of my children’s christenings. We did make straps with it though.
The is the dress by iteself:
And a better one showing the shawl:

Mine is from davids bridal as well not the same as your mine is galina signature swg523 🙂 i chose mine simply because of its extremely comfortable weightless feel. That was my #1 requirement above all! im not a dress wearer.

when is your wedding? I’m not until Sept 5 so I have some tIke. Love the birdcage veil look, that will go perfectly with your theme! my mom has a string of pearls I think I am going to wear, and then a thin bracelet and a small adornment in my hair. your look sounds absolutely gorgeous!

My gown was custom made! I chose to go this route because I wanted something very specific I knew I was not going to find anywhere near my budget. I loooove my dress. 🙂

I had the exact same experience! Ended up with a ball gown! Allure 9103. Love your dress- you look amazing!

ohh that’s gorgeous! I’m kind of in awe of people who can do that beautiful delicate kind of knitting. I can do basic crochet and that’s it.

When I first started looking at dresses onlie, this was the first dress that I pinned and saved to my phone, but thought it would be WAY to expensive. Then when I went to try on dresses for the first time, they had it, so i had to try it on!! Fell in love immediately and had to say yes!!!

I love your dress! I keep seeing it and thinking, “If only I got married again….”
I chose my dress for its color and non-blingy lace ( I am not a bling person!). Plus I love mermaids.
