mahares:  Mine isn’t till September 20th! Lots of time still, I just get OCD sometimes, and want to get everything sorted. What a lovely gesture to wear your mother’s pearls, I love that! It will look so gorgeous! Eek exciting!!!

@steph91 what designer is your dress? My maid of honor is getting married in 2016 and is looking for something similar! Looks incredible on you! All of you ladies look stunning! Enjoying the custom ones too! You hear such horror stories and I love seeing such beautiful works turn out for yall ๐Ÿ™‚

below I have evolution of my dress choice! Although I only bought one. i would have never in a million years thought I Would have ANY beading….. Not a bling person ironic enough. I would do lace- I would do very fitted (at 5foot these things really swallow you…..)

The first dress I tried had the fitted lace that I likes and the beading warned me up to the idea although I found it overall overwhelming and uncomfortable.

The second dress I tried on was incredibly comfortable and was way less structured! It had a ton of beading which I decided I loved other than the giant clusters that disteacted me. I did come very close to saying yes but it was expensive and I wasn’t completely in love…..

after some researching on beaded sheath I saw this and had to try it. It was just right and I fell in love. This is still the sample and the right size should be in come August but I am thrilled to have found this sottero and midgley beauty. Comfy, sexy with hints of modesty, unique. I was sold. our venue is an estate turned art museum so it should be eclectic all around!

Wow, soooo many gorgeous brides and brides-to-bee!

I chose my dress because after trying on nearly 30 dresses, it’s the one dress that made me feel beautiful, like a bride, and like myself.  I tried so many things on that either made me feel beautiful and like a bride, but not like myself… or beautiful and like myself, but not like a bride.

This is me in the sample, but I ordered it in striped organza ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s an Essense of Australia D1672, but the striped version looks much like the Hayley Paige Guindon dress.

I went in to my appointment having absolutely no idea what I wanted. I described my venue (barn with “fairytale” lighting, so not super rustic looking) and I wanted it slightly vintage with some fairytale undertones) and this was the first dress she pulled and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since (or while I tried on 20 other dresses.) Plus, the belt is attached, which is awesome and eliminates awkward belt bow in the back.

My dress came in recently and I just wanted to come back and repost. Here is my dress. I love it.

The reason why I chose this dress was because I was looking through the bridal dresses at the store website the night before we were going to go dress shopping and this is one that I fell in love with. It is simple yet so elegant and very feminie. I did not want a heavy dress and I absolutley did not want a strapless dress. I show this pic to my fsil and she said I would look great in this dress. The next day as we were looking through the rack of dresses in the store, one of us pulled this exact dress to try on. I was so in loved with it. It looked so much better on me than on the model. My fmil loved the dress too. She says it looks great on me. I love this dress so much. It is just so me.

I went with a jim hjelm dress that i absolutely fell in love with when i was dress shopping with my mom.  I wanted my dress to be romantic, girly, ethereal and soft.  When i saw this dress, i just had a hunch and when i tried it on, i was floored.  And everyone at the wedding were obsessed with my dress, even guys who never remember anything about the bride’s dress, they remember mine.
