I had a Destination Wedding in St Tomas as we had white chocolate sand dollars that i ordered from ETSY

This is a photo from her site….she can do them in ribbons to match your colors. She also does them in milk chocolate but I think the white chocolate ones are prettier and look more realistic!

Sunglasses!! Screams summer/Miami to me. You could find silly sunglasses in different shapes- like stars, etc. I’m sure people would wear them and it would make for great, fun photos!

My mom’s family is Greek and at Greek weddings it is traditional to give jordan almonds as favors. I originally wasn’t going to do favors but my mom was all “WHAT, NO JORDAN ALMONDS!?!?! WE NEED JORDAN ALMONDS!!!” so, there you have it.

There’s even a little poem that goes with them:

Five sugared almonds for each guest to eat
To remind us that life is both bitter and sweet.
Five wishes for the new husband and wife —
Health, wealth, happiness, children, and a long life!

@distracts:  make sure to tell people what they are so they dont eat them if they have allergies.

My dentist included a little candy in my goody bag and didn’t say there were almonds in it. I almost died.

I saw this thing where you mix up the dry ingredients for cookies in a mason jar and put the candies on top of the mix.  You could easily manipulate the colors with minimal cost. Not to mention the ingredients kind of look like sand!

Yikes, okay, I read right past that. I agree with the chocolate sand dollars then. Those are cute, and they look simple enough.

Honeslty, I love koozies, but I don’t really use koozies from other people’s weddings because it has their names and wedding date on it. My sister made homemade cookies and put two in a little baggie and tied with ribbon. Being the southern girl that I am, I will be making homemade jam with my grandma and using that as our favors with a cute little thank you note and ribbon. (:

My fiance and I are handmaking soap. It’s fairly inexpensive and there are variety of molds, scents and colors to use.
