You can get a hoop skirt for that shape of dress, to help poof it out more without adding a bunch of extra fabric to tangle your feet in.  I’m tentatively going that route for my dress.

Edited to add: I think that the dress looks beautiful like that, but a little more volume would also look great.

agree, a hoop skirt helps a lot to hold the skirt away from the dress. i got my hoop cheap from lightinthebox.com, you can use their livechat function to show the consultant a pic of your dress so they can recommend one for you.

Hi, that’s my dress too ๐Ÿ™‚ I’ve also debated this and ive decided to go with an underskirt to add more volume to the bottom and make the overall shape stand out more. Having said that it’s still amazing without one! ๐Ÿ™‚

I like the dress as you have it in the picture.  It sits lovely at the bottom, i wouldn’t add volume.

This is my dress too, I’m not getting married until next year so my dress isn’t in yet but from the sample i don’t think I need more added but I will see when I try it on again.

    You look beautiful btw!

I also have the same dress and right now I’m not planning on wearing a slip or hoop. What kind of shoes is everyone wearing or jewelry?

garcialym:  that’s so pretty! Those go good together.  I had custom earrings made but that’s still all I know for jewelry. I love your comb. I need to get one. Where did you get it?  These are my earrings. I’m not sure about necklace or bracelet. My Maid/Matron of Honor said I could borrow her pearl necklace.
