@MrsGibby2Bee: I’ve been looking for pics of this dress on real brides! It’s nice to see someone “full-figured” in it for once. I’ll definitely be trying that on. It looks great!

I wouldn’t consider it a sheath style, more of a narrow A-line, but this is my in Vienna by Maggie Sottero:

@imalittlebirdie: I love this dress – I tried her on yesterday – It looks good from the front – but beware of the back… I have noassatall, that being said – shapeware would be my best friend in this… I could pick apart every aspect that I hate of myself in this dress  –  I just love the dress though … GRRR!

@MrsGibby2Bee: I think it looks great!! Are you going to buy it? I don’t know if this is a no-no, but do you know how much it is? I can’t find anything online. I am dying to try it on. You look beautiful in it.

@crocodilerock: Thank you bunches!!!  I’m just not a fan of my rear when I’ve seen dresses that look more flattering on me.. ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™ ๐Ÿ™  The dress was $1069 I believe – it’s an Allure.   Im having a dress made if it’s possible, so I will attempt to get this look in a semi- a-line empire waist if I can… otherwise I’m going to throw in the towel and go with this taffeta gown or something similar:

@smitten_and_giddy: and others: Thank you so much! I love my dress. The one part of my body I’d like to “fix” in time for the wedding would be my arms – I’d like to have more tone and definition.

@confettiegg2000: Thank you!  I’ve got many more pics where those came from -I think I’ve tried on half of the city’s gowns. ๐Ÿ™  I too, have some toning and definition to work on with my arms!!  I’m soooo disappointed with them at this moment  – incredibly frustrated.

@MrsGibby2Bee: Thank you for telling me! That’s actually much less than I thought it would be. By The Way that taffeta gown looks AMAZING on you. Seriously, both dresses would be a win. Whatever you get made will be great!

Here’s me in a lace sheath that didn’t make the cut. It was the first lace dress I tried on and made me realize that lace was definitely what I wanted. I didn’t love the shape on me, though. I needed a little more volume on the bottom to balance out my chest. I ended up with a lace fit and flare with a sweetheart neckline.

@SugerPlum:  It really is. I loved the elegant simplicity of the dress (and sheaths in general). I just didn’t love it on me. ๐Ÿ™ If my waist were smaller or my hips larger, I think I might have looked less top heavy, but that shape looks really great on all the PPs. It’s just all about balance.

Unfortunately I don’t have any pics of me in my dress, but I WILL on Oct 7, when I get to go try her on for the first time since she arrived. I’ll definitely post a pic then.

Good luck with your dress search! Keep us updated!
