I just googled League of Legends into the WB search bar and up popped a bunch of posts title “Gamer So” or “Video Game Widow” 😀
Let’s hear from the gamer brides! If you play anything on pc, lemme know! If we’ve got some games in common, we can see about some Co-op!
Right now I am playing mostly League of Legends. The consoles are being neglected as my PC just blows them out of the water.

Oh god. I’m a console girl, but we’ve discused upgrading a pc for gaming (had one years ago, but the console is just so convienent). Currently I’m rocking out Borderlands 2, huge improvement over the last version.
Even though we’re on different platforms, I’m so glad there is another bride to be out there that games! (I’m also a bit over dosed on ruffles at the moment.)

I don’t play much these days but I was once the queen of nerdy high school LAN parties. Hope you find some fun gamer brides – I know I’ve seen some on here!

I imagined so. After all, where else would a nerdy person planning their wedding go but the internet? ~_^
@jilleeann: Borderlands 2 is a ton of fun! I have it on my PC through Steam. I’m wishing you well and hoping for an upgraded PC in your future! 🙂 Surely there’s something on Newegg you can slip into your old one! XD I built mine last year, but I’m already wanted to upgrade to a solid state hard drive.
@JenGirl: Nerdy High School LAN parties sound like fun. 😀 I didn’t get into that sort of thing until college. Two AM Maple Story (omg, I’m so ashamed) party at the computer lab? I was so there.

No MMORPGs, but I kill console games.. Mass Effect (omg, anyone else? I have a Liara as my display pic here haha), Assassins Creed, most Final Fantasy’s and Kingsom Heart games. Fable, Dragon Age, Dead Space, SWKotOR, BioShock, Boarder Lands, Prince of Persia, Tales games, Sims aaaand then the classics, like Zelda, Spyro, Kirby, ect.
The ONLY reason I stay away from stuff like Guild Wars, WoW, other MMORPGs is that when I like something, my entire world revolves around it for that month or two. and the only reason I can move on from console games is I beat it a couple of times and get bored.. Sometimes I’ll revisit it a year later or so. But online rp games are ENDLESS. Lol.. My Fiance would kill me. He’s not a gamer at all.. Haha, he would need to peel me away from the screen.

- Wedding: August 2013 - The Liberty House
I have been trying to get into League but I haven’t had that much time with wedding stuff. Fiance and I are playing our way through FFXIII in our limited free time. I was hard core into WoW for a long time, and the effect if had on my productivity is kinda why I’m limiting the games for now.

@silkspectre94: Assassins creed!!!! Zelda!!! Anyone play dantes inferno or Catherine!? Such amazing games!
No computer games for me except Sims 3 and Nancy Drew (guilty pleasure) hehe

On PC? I play Left 4 Dead 2 at lunch with co-workers, and some TF2. And Sims 3. 🙂 I play other games sometimes, but not usually on PC.
I’m also working on the upcoming South Park RPG. 🙂

@Girasole: lol, there could be a whole other post for guilty pleasure games… *Ahem*Harvest Moon *cough* Animal Crossing *cough* DDR..

@silkspectre94: omg yessssss all of those

@Asia: I dropped my laptop earlier this year and instead of buying a new one we just ina solid state hard drive. Less space, but wow is it fast! It’s made me a spoiled brat.
@silkspectre94: You listed another reason that I find I stick to console. Plus, if life gets busy I don’t feel bad for my absenses. I was a moderator for catan’s online game, and when I couldn’t play every day I felt really bad!

Um PS3, old school nintendo. We have an entire spare room dedicated to the video game thing. I bought him skyrim… aaaand I have been playing it 90% of the time.

@jilleeann: my Fiance just bought a new laptop, solid state drive. Oh my.. I am soooo jealous. its fast and takes 10 seconds to boot

My husband doesn’t play LoL but he plays HoN (He is playing right now)
I prefer indie games or interactive games. I’m big into Skyrim, my husband and I are both playing Dead Space 3 together.
I have a massive game list on Steam. really, it’s absurd. Dungeonland, Dungeon Defender, Torchlight, Left 4 Dead. I was a huge GuildWars 1 fan but GuildWars 2 really disappointed me. my husband and I play occasionally with a guy from his squadron.
@silkspectre94: Holy crap, Harvest moon ROCKS. You have no idea how obsessed with that game I was. Seriously.
I am a hard, hard, hardcore gamer. My husband and I are very competitive with each other and will shit-talk one another into oblivion (which was another good game)

@silkspectre94: Um, where is the source of the guilt? As far as Harvest Moon goes, I make it a point to make all them b’s fall for me. 😀 I’m the same way with any Sims games, it’s a little scary that I can be so manipulative, but I love it so…
I may have, at one time, set up a whole scenario on Sims 2 where the village whore married the old rich man, then killed him in front of his son (who now is an adult and wants revenge). The whore built a robot lover, and on the day she was set to marry him, as they were saying their vows, the son brought his father back fromt he dead as a Zombie. Sadly, the run up was much more fun than the actual event, as Zombie-guy didn’t care about anything that happened to him before death. Boo.
@StephieBee: I LOVE Left 4 Dead! Survival on L4D2 is so so much fun! I haven’t played it in a few months, but maybe I should! I couldn’t handle zombie games before that one, but it was so much fun I just sort of got over it. It took a lot of screaming, but I got over it. 😀
@silkspectre94: I never played MMORPG’s befoer I met Fi. He sort of pushed and prodded til i relented. Before that, my game shelf probably looked a lot like yours! It is definately safer to play a game with an ending! >_< I don’t play WoW, but I do have Guild Wars 2. It was fun for a couple of weeks, but didn’t really do much for me. Now, when the Elder Scrolls Online comes out, I am hoping it’ll do it! I signed up for the Beta, so I’d love it if you ladies would wish me luck!
Uh oh, I think my Nerd is showing….
