I don’t have red hair (my Fiance does though!) but I just wanted to say that red hair is gorgeous and I am so jealous of you lucky ladies!

I have auburn hair, but I still get called a ginger all the time.

My dress was light gold (Maggie Sottero Phillipa)

Sorry, don’t have pics, but as a ginger, I chose ivory. I have brown eyes and freckles, but I have dark red hair, so my eyebrows are brown.

@Leesh:i used to dye my hair dark brown as a teenager because i hated it – but i love it now! it does take time to fully embrace it because kids at school are mean! as soon as u leave though everyone starts complimenting your red hair!

I went with Ivory lace and then switched to Light gold. None of the white dresses lookes good on me. I am very pale but I dye my hair a slightly darker red than it is.

My hair is red/auburn.  But in bright light/sunlight?  VERY red!!! I also have almost-translucent skin.   Here’s a pic of my in the DB’s Ariel-knock-off.  NOT my gown, but…. this gown was VERY white and I ended up with soooo many people at DB complimenting me (at least three employees and several other customers!)

this is NOT me, but I’m pretty sure it’s someone else here on the Bee. I saved her picture because I love her hair!

I have reddish hair (more auburnish) and also have naturally pale skin… I HATE the way white looks on me (I think it brings out more of the red tones in my skin) I bought my dress at a sample sale and its technically ‘gold’ but I think it looks more like a dark ivory… I like it more than the white dresses I tried on 🙂

I haven’t officially gone to try on gowns yet since we’re trying to set our location. But I was a very bad girl and tried on a very small number of gowns before my engagement. (FI and I had planned for the engagement to be offcial a few weeks later, so he knew, but I didn’t go with my family, just a friend while we were out doing regular shopping.) And while I was trying those one, I found that ivory looked very nice against my skin tone.
