Hooray for another Hoosier bride! =)

We’re actually pretty far in the planning process…W-day is only about 45 days away (3/21/09)! I’m getting into crunch tiime now, and there’s still lots of little projects on my to-do list. (Maybe I should take a break from weddingbee, and start printing my programs? Haha).

Looking forward to hearing from more brides from IN!

Another Indiana bride.  Our date is October 17th so we still have awhile but I feel like we have alot done.  All vendors are booked except the cake which is next on my list.

Are any of you from the Indianapolis area?

Yep, from the west side of Indy! (Avon area)

We found a FABULOUS cake vendor who was super affordable (and super talented!)…if you want to check her out, her name’s Paige from Sweet Seductions. I believe the website is http://www.sweetseductions.biz.

She is based out of Camby (southwest side of Indy).

Wedding will take place at Valle Vista Golf Club (Greenwood), with the ceremony at the same location.

Our ceremony and reception are both at the Indiana State Museum.

What are your colors?  I am doing black/white (damask) and kiwi.

That’s such a coincidence….mine are black/white (damask) with purple (I almost did green)! I’m working on making my damask runners this week and next.

Scratch that, I’m not making them…my wonderful mother is. So I can’t take the credit. =)

I absolutely love the IN State Museum! I’m sure that’s going to turn out beautifully.

I waiting for my sample runner to come in this week.  I can’t wait to see pictures!  Purple is great because there are so many beautiful flowers.

Hey! I’m an indiana bride as well! I’m a little more north, Fort Wayne, but its nice to see fellow hoosiers on wedding bee! The plus of living in such a hillbilly state is you can get weddings around here for CHEAP.

I did order them from Esty.  My Maid/Matron of Honor was going to make them with the fabric I selected but I saw the same fabric and the cost on Esty is just seemed easier to go that route since the cost was lower than I expected.

If you have any damask related items you want to sell after the wedding, send me a private message to look at the items because I might be interested.

Loved the purple inspiration board.
