I’m doing paper. Urban Collective (an etsy seller) was running a sale and I got mine for a little below the average price. The designs are quite modern. Some are very intricate laser paper cuts. Most of the designs can be printed on Italian bookcloth, which is lovely.

Check them out if you are looking for something more modern and less “painted” looking.

@bfh426:  I got a paper ketubah.  It came in a few weeks ago, personalized and all.  Its pretty heavy paper, and I don’t think anyone will know what material it is when its framed.  We really just wanted to keep the cost down.

I’m getting paper. Of all that i have seen, you can’t tell the difference once it’s framed.

I’m also getting paper (techically it’s called cotton rag watercolor paper). It’s the only thing that the artist offers.

I got a canvas one, just because we were hoping it would be more durable, and we could keep it in the family with the kiddos and beyond if we start adding little people to our household.

Paper. We prefered the way the text looked on the paper versus the canvas.

I’m also using Urban Collective from Etsy….they’ve been amazing.  I’m using a papercut one (the actual underlay where you sign is giclee on paper) and they do all the info pre-printed so that it looks nice and clean and all you have to do is sign!

I was recently in Nashville and went the an antique mall on sixth street. they had fill in the blank antique katubahs.  Anyone in that area might want to check it out.
