I have been looking for a lace dress in my budget and have been having some difficulty.  I am a plus size bride (20/22W) and it seems most stores I’ve been to don’t really have a lot of plus size selection to try on let alone lacy dresses.  If any one has purchased one of these dresses (I love most of them) in my size and is interested in selling it please get a hold of me!  Thank you!

I never in a million years  thought I would have a lace dress! Mine is Casablance 1981. I haven’t seen any other brides in it! Please ignore the stupid look.

Mmm…. lace… I originally tried to go with a non-lace dress, but it just wouldn’t work for me. I kept trying to put lace on it somewhere! I love lace too much, and this thread reminds me why. SO many incredible dresses on here!! This is the one I ended up going with (I’ve posted it many times before… sorry!):

I love lace! Just doesn’t look as heavy as a satin dress!

My dress is Allure 8825 too, although I altered to be strapless, removed the belt.

And this picture shows the colour & lace better:

the dress was a sample size 12, I’m a street size 18, but it was still very flattering! I LOVE this dress! Its not all over sparkle, but has a bit of sparkle on the detachable flower ( I like it better with the flower).

I post mine all the time, but I’m in love:

She needs a lot of alterations still (taken in, and I’m going to deepen the sweetheart just a touch) and a changed out sash, and I have no slip on in that pic, but the lace on this dress is just beautiful.  It’s a Gallina, KP3221, and you can’t beat the price.

I tried on lots of other lace dresses (it’s almost all I tried on- I knew what I wanted) and I also found these flattering, but I have no idea what designers they are.  I found most of these dresses too fussy for me- they would’ve been great if I were actually 5’10 like I am standing on the stool in the pics, but at 5’2, I felt like they were just a lot of dress for me. The second one below was the only one I would’ve seriously considered, but it was like five times the price of the one I ended up getting, so it just was no contest.
