Hello!
Planning is kind of sucking all of the joy out of my life right now. I can’t get anyone to give me their addresses. My mom keeps trying to guilt me into inviting more people from her side of the family. I’m having some issues with my bridesmaids and getting things done.
We didn’t have a reason for picking the date for any other reason than FH and I would both have been out of school for a few months.

Wow, glad to hear I’m not the only bride whose mom guilted her into inviting someone or more. She and my sister asked/guilted me into inviting my sister’s mother in law. She is a perfectly nice lady, has lived next door to my sister almost all the 16 years my sister has been married. That’s great for my sister, but she is not my mother in law. What the heck. The more I plan a wedding the more I realize every invite is money. I told them both it’s not like a birthday party where you can invite whoever you want.
Anywho, it’s water under the bride now. My fiance and I recently registered, more importantly we finally got our invitations out!!!! That was more fun than I had thought. He was so cute. He took a pic of him mailing them at the post office and texted it to me 🙂
The day will be here before we know it ladies! Future Mrs.mendez, your venue is Gorgous!!!

YEP, good to have back up invitees! We have goton 5 back so far, one decline. People have to register by Feb.14…kinda cheesy and cute 😉
I had bridal portriats taken yesterday and I am soooooo disapponited 🙁 I was on my period and very bloated. I can see it in my face as well I change dmy mind 2 minutes before mt gthe photographer and put my hair all the way down instea dof half up the way I had it. I don’t want to be a bridezilla, I just want to feel beatiful on my wedding day.
I should be far from my period when that happens. Did any of you ladies plan the date around your period??

I’m a March 15th bride! I feel like most of the major planning points are done. There are a few things yet to be completed though. Like my MOH’s dress hasn’t come in yet, which is worrying me a little. My dress is still at the seamstress and she didn’t give me any indication when it might be ready. I need to schedule a hair trial, which I’ll probably do this week. Annnnnd I need to order our bulk flowers for our DIY centerpieces. Haha. It seems like a lot when I type it out like that!

Hi ladies!!! I can’t believe the day is getting so close!!!! I’m completely in shock…I was calm, cool and collected until we went and got our marriage license yesterday 
I also was just offered an awesome job I applied for which screws up the nice long 10 day vacation I had planned with my previous job 🙁
