@KimmySumShuga:  Yay! You are getting married on the Eternity… I got married on there April 17 but almost two years ago! It’s a fabulous venue and you won’t regret it — it was beautiful! Feel free to email me if you have any questions about it! πŸ™‚   My husband and I now own a Photo Booth rental company and have done a wedding on the yacht recently and it was so fun to remember all of the fun memories!

Hey! Im an oc bride from Huntington but I’m getting married up in San Pedro so I’m not sure if I qualify for this thread πŸ™‚ Since my wedding isn’t until June 2013, I’m not very far into planning yet but I love hearing what everyone else is doing and getting the names of some vendors in the area!

@KimmySumShuga: I looked at Electra Cruises! My aunt got married there three years ago…it was a lot of fun! They do a good job and I know your day will be awesome!

I am an OC bride too! My name is Anne and I’m getting married at the Woodbury clubhouse in Irvine. I also inquired on having our wedding at the Electra but our ceremony takes place at a Catholic church so we wouldnt necessarily need the services of an officiant at the yacht. Plus I was a bit unsure of the 4 hours of reception time on the boat would be enough LOL. But for an all-inclusive package, their rates were pretty reasonable.

Please share vendors you’ve hired already and experiences. And if anybody’s having a vintage theme and would like to share the costs of decor, I’d be more than happy to πŸ˜‰

Hi! I got married at Casa del Camino in Laguna and it was AMAZING! I loved my entire experience with them and they turn it in to a very romantic setting. Rooftop ceremony overlooking the ocean and then the reception was downstairs between the lobby and restaurant – we had 85 people total and it was perfect! It was a few years ago, but I love everything about my day! Used Mandy Marie with Jim Kennedy Photographers and Amanda from Fantasy Florals who was fab!

Congrats and best of luck!

Hello everyone!

Not sure if I apply for this thread since I don’t live in the OC, but I am getting married in the OC! My name is Karine and we’re getting married on October 7th (ah, 6 months away!!) at Meadowlark Golf Club in Huntington Beach.  We actually considered Electra Cruises as our venue as well but changed our minds due to a few guests having motion sickness and I didn’t want to risk it (plus some of my friends aren’t very punctual and didn’t want to risk the yacht sailing away without them! Lol).  Can’t wait to hear about your weddings! πŸ™‚

I’m an OC transplant that grew up here since the age of 5.  I’m so excited to get married here in my beloved Orange County.  I’m getting married at the Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano on 5/27/13.  It’s very close to the Mission and provides an outdoor local for my ceremony and reception.  I am so excited and am counting down the days.

Hello, I’m an O.C. native living in Los Angeles now.

We’re getting married at Ranchos Las Lomas in Silverado. We’re so excited we’re less then 2 months away, Aug11th, 2012!!

We love our venue, it’s so beautiful, unique, and takes you away to a different romantic serene place. (sigh).

We just finished our hand-made fabric invitation folders and handed them out/delivered them last week. We’ve received a lot of verbal responses, but it’ll be exciting to get the RSVP’s.

Flourist: Inviting Occassions, can’t wait to see things during our mock-up in a few weeks

Photographer: Austin O’Brien. We chose him after two friends had great results. He’s from pasadena.
