Not a fan personally. It overwhelms that diamond.

I do think the miligrain is a little too much for this ring. I think it distracts from the center stone a little too much for my tastes. That being said, my tastes don’t matter here- how do YOU feel about it?? Yours is the only opinion that matters here 🙂

I do like it but as slomotion said, it takes over the centre stone. I’d prefer it with either a bigger centre or no centre at all and just rock it as is.

That milgrain isn’t well done IMO. It’s too beady. From what I e seen though, sometimes with these pics, they don’t look like that AT ALL in person. It may be fine.

It would be pretty if the center stone was bigger.

I’m sure the milgrain would look much daintier in person as this image is enlarged to show detail. I do think that the ring it’s self needs to be scaled down a bit to compliment the center stone better.  But overall I think it’s a beautiful ring!

It’s too ornate for my taste.

It’s a lovely ring but wether or not the milgrain is overpowering to the center stone is dependent on how finely done the milgrain is. A finely done milgrain would be a beautiful compliment to the ring and center stone. A not so finely done chunky milgrain will be distracting. Are there actual pictures of this ring?

Hard to tell with a stock photo.

I really like it!! I love a vintage look! It’s beautiful – in fact, where is it from? I Might order one myself

i think it might look nicer with s slightly bigger centre stone – but that’s a personal option. Everyone likes a different size centre stone.

The…draping…makes it look like a circus tent. That’s all I can see. I think with a larger stone it would minimize how dramatic that setting is. But for a stone that size, there are definitely settings better suited.

After having stalked the Stuller website for a year, this looks like one of their settings. Maybe look at some other Stuller settings and see if there is anything similar but slightly more subtle?

Not a fan but it reminds me a little bit of Verragio’s rings- they have a style that has similar details but only on the sides (as opposed to the top, which I think is overwhelming). The picture I’m posting is a ring I initially fell in love with! I ended up choosing something completely different at the end, but I’m still a fan of this!
