I actually found my favorite pair of work pants at NY&Co. The slim cut just means that it will hug your body in the right places. I love Loft’s dress pants too…the Julie is their curvier cut. I am a size 10; narrow hips, but a round butt and thick but toned thighs.

@bestbuddies:  I really like gap, they have a variety of cuts and a variety of lengths.

@bestbuddies:  Maurices is the only place I can buy suit seperate pants… being both fat AND short! LOL

The shaw fit at Eddie Bauer fits me well, and I am a similar fit as you. But they are not on sale all the time (and not always in stores, but online).

I’m a 14 and Lane Bryant’s pants fit me great. In fact, they’re really the only career pants I can wear. They have a cool color coded system for 3 different body shapes, so you can get your right size AND fit. It’s great!

I have a huge ass and hips and found that the pants at Ann Taylor work best. On sale, you can get them for around $60-80 but I LOVE them. I’m a size 12-14.

I have good luck at Kohl’s- their Apt 9 brand fits great, it comes in regular and curvy, but I find both fit well. NY&co. is also good too.

What I ended up doing was buying the size that fit my butt/ thighs and then taking them to an alterations pace and having them taken in at the waist. It wasn’t very expensive, they don’t fall down and my thighs are comfy.

I like Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor loft. I’m a 14 in pants, small waist, big thighs. They have all kinds or styles – the Julie works best for me. I also have an outlet for both stores near me so that helps a lot ๐Ÿ™‚

I actually really like the pants from American Eagle. They’re a little more “cotton” of a material than typical pants and looser through the thighs. Plus, I wear a 10 instead of a 12 there. ๐Ÿ™‚
