I have a round diamond with baguettes. My setting is low, so unless I had a band that curved around my stone, I was looking at a gap no matter what.

My mother gave me and my sister my grandmother’s anniversary band and we both made our own rings out of the diamonds. I had mine made to look just like my grandma’s ring.

Here are some pics!

Chaitea:  thanks! The stones on the band are actually individually set. Here’s a picture that shows the band detail more:

I did recently revamp my set. I have always wanted a straight band that could be worn alone. And I FINALLY have it. Mine is a 7 stone from whiteflash

I don’t have a picture of the rings together but here is my engagement ring (http://www.trumpetandhorn.com/addison.html) and wedidng band both vintage platinum rings. My center stone sits low but the two rings are flush when I wear them because the center stone is petite.
