Ignore that woman. Get whatever works for you guys. A simple and classic setting can make a 3-4 ct look elegant. It’s all in how you put the ring together!

I’m a size 3.75, but this ring is sized to a 4. Can’t resize further down due to the pave.

My stone is 2.02 ct. 8mm
Band is 1.8 mm

Thank you for the compliments!

Brillian Earth is not necessarily geared toward the 3+ ct. consumers, hence the reaction.

Try working with some custom people in NYC or LA and they will make you feel like 3-4 cts is too small!! lol It’s all relative.

Tiffany knife-edge, 6-prong will be DEVINE with whatever size you pick!

AbigailJAM :  3.02 center diamond.  .40 side diamonds. set in platinum.

Edited to add – I am a size 4 and we had the setting created for the stone size as the designer setting was too fragile for it…although this setting looks just like the one I fell in love with.

AbigailJAM :  Hello Bee,

I have 2.70 carats round diamond ring on a 4.5 size finger and I could go bigger.

AbigailJAM :  2 carats on a 4.75 finger. Ring shrinkage is real, but I do feel any larger may look off. I will also say my fingers are a little short 🙂

AbigailJAM :  don’t listen to her! When I was at Tiffany’s and I told the sa that I wanted a 3-4 ct on a size 3 finger, she said the exact same thing! That it’s not going to look good. Fiance thought 2 ct was too small and i like a 3.5 ct and above so we are in agreement.. in the end, I got a 3.82 ct center stone with side baguettes and i love the finger coverage I get! In fact, i think it’s a blessing that my finger is so tiny so any stone looks big on me!!

And here’s a picture that shows the ring on me from far (I was dress shopping 😂)

So personally, I don’t think it looks too big or gaudy by any means. Definitely larger than average for sure but not distasteful. Heck, if I could, I would get a 5 ct ring hahahah
