Here’s my 0.5 Ct center, 0.7 Ct total. D, VVS1, ideal! He went for quality over size and it shows! This thing is so so so gorgeous and I love the size on my 5.5 finger ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s a carat and 1/4 some might say it’s small but it shines so bright and I love it! I don’t think I’ll ever up grade. My first ring was 500 bucks. We bought it off someone(i didnt really care where the ring came from, his son had been asking me to marry his dad so I could be his real mom!  We just needed a ring) and at the end of our payments he gave us the reciept for the ring and he paid about 2grand. We had no idea he still had the reciept. We used the ring we bought from him as leverage for an upgrade. So we only paid half price for this ring. We were able to use the 2 grand originally paid paid towards this ring with the receipt.

My diamond solitaire is 0.29 ct, total of set is a huge 0.35 ๐Ÿ˜‰ my finger size is 8.5. My rings are considered quite blingy for Sweden though.

I’m pretty sure that mine is sold as a engagement ring not a promise ring, but compared to some bees it can be seen as small. It’s a little over a carat total, .5 center stone. Came from Kay. It actually takes up quite a bit of my ring finger because my fingers are so short. I used to play around with the idea of adding to it but I don’t think anything else would fit!

aimerxoxo :  my wedding band is pretty typical for a wedding band. The ering is usually a plain version of the wedding band (well the opposite). We don’t have the tradition of proposing here. Getting engaged is a joint desicion. Then the pair get matching plain gold bands. During the wedding ceremony the woman adds a second band, usually a copy of the ering and sometimes with tiny diamonds as I have.

Some young people (I guess inspired by the US) choose a solitaire as their wedding ring. They are RARELY over half a carat. Usually about 0.25ct.

This is the promise ring my boyfriend gave me when we were 20. It’s a 1/10 ct solitaire in a 6-prong 18k gold setting, very small but so dainty!!
