I have recently inherited a 1 ct oval cut and after spending weeks online looking at pics and trying a few settings on in store, I have finally settled on a simple, classic solitaire setting-but with a bit of a twist (literally). I’m anxious to see any and all solitaire rings, but definitely post a pic if you are rocking an oval!
Here is a pic of the setting I’m going to have made for the stone:

It’s not exactly a solitaire, but do halos count?
Anyways, it’s an oval haha.

Blake Lively’s ring was another one I loved, but in the end I fell in love with the split shank and the twisted basket of the first one

luey12986: I love your ring, those stones are the side are so delicate and beautiful! A classic beauty with a twist for sure.
sassybeee: What a gorgeous ring! I’m all about the simplicity these days. I love intricate, detailed designs, but the simple elegance of a solitaire seems to be what I keep coming back to.
sydneyfrancis88: Oh my gosh, I love your set! That combo looks awesome together. Can I ask where you go your band? I love the twisted look 🙂
mrsbullwinkle: That pic you posted is the epitome of a ring and nails on point. Beautiful!
MrsSparkleBee13: Thank you! I will try and post pics as soon as I can. The stone is a 7×5 mm moissanite (I’m not sure if it’s Forever One or Forever Brilliant). I inherited it from my cousin who purchased it and then decided to go for a diamond instead. I’m excited to see the stone in person. Speaking of stones, I love your oval! It would look amazing in any setting you put it in. I love the halo you have now, but if you ever decided to go the solitaire route, that would be beautiful too!
