sunriselove14:  That’s so beautiful!  Can you share a link to it or let me know what it’s called?  I’ve never noticed that setting on their site!

Not exactly what you asked for, but you should also check out IDJewelry if you’re not 100% set on Blue Nile. It’s a similar online jeweler (with storefront in NYC, I believe). They carry Vatche, who makes a bunch of my personal favorite solitaires. They have a ton of solitaires that are slightly different from your typical setting, but still simple. I think they’re gorgeous. My SO got my sapphire set by IDJewelry in a Vatche solitaire and I love it!

Heads up – LivingSocial has a $100 off purchase of $200+ that expires tomorrow night.. in case your Fiance was ready to buy! Otherwise, I’m sure there’s going to be a bunch more deals along the way since the holiday season is coming up πŸ™‚

Just google “Blue Nile Living Social” and it’ll pop right up! We used it to buy my wedding band last night πŸ˜€

That MoissaniteCo ring that is linked 3 posts up is my ring. =) I have to admit, it’s a fabulous solitaire (I may be a little biased..). My stone is .75 equivalent, which, if my memory serves is about 6mm?

I considered a ring with more bling, but I wanted something low maintenance. It would hurt my heart to have to leave it with a jeweler if stones started falling out, like they’ve done with every other ring I’ve had, granted none of them are high quality jewelry, but still. I didn’t want to risk it.

No regrets on going with a solitaire. It throws off plenty of sparkle. πŸ˜‰

wraith1526:  both r very pretty!!! We were torn between pave and plain band…I would’ve been happy with either, esp after seeing the plain band on ur hand, it is very clean and elegant look!
