Mine is an Amora Gem, just over a carat F color on a size 8 finger.  I took this shot today under our Japanese Maple.

NellBee55 :  oh, Your ring is so pretty! I love that braided detail you see from the side. Is it two tone?

I think my ring is close to what you’re looking for it’s 2.27 old European cut, size 4.25 finger.

i chose the diamond because i love old cuts, and I didn’t see a setting I liked so I put together elements from like 4 different rings and put them all together and had David Klass make it into reality!

This is my 16th anniversary ring. I thought I would never forget all the specs, but I have forgotten most of the details. It’s a round brilliant diamond, .90ct and E in color. The setting is platinum, and I think has about 1.5 ct of stones on the setting.

At the time we purchased this stone and setting, we were working with a jeweler who was local to us to create a diamond and sapphire anniversary band. We had to go into the store several times to look at different sapphires they had sourced. Each time, I would see this setting in the display, and I was mesmerized. It was love at first sight for me when I saw this one. I had never seen a setting like it, and I could not get over all the sparkle and everything from the little stones on the setting. Anyhow, I would look at it every time we went to the jeweler’s shop. They would always take it out of the case for me to see and everything. After about the fourth or fifth time of us going into the store to look at sapphires, my husband told the jeweler: “Never mind. I think we have found something different.” I wasn’t expecting it at all, so it was a total surprise. And then, he even let me pick a new center stone. It was so sweet and romantic of him.

I have several different rings. And I switch them around here and there. But I continue to adore this ring as much as that first time I saw it in the display case. It still amazes me with its sparkle, and I love wearing it just as much now (several years later!) as I did on that very first day.

This is my 20th anniversary ring. It is a pink-purple Spinel set in 14K rose gold. The stone is a little over 2 carat equivalent.

I have a thing for dragons, and always have! If something like this had been available when I got engaged, I definitely would have wanted it — ha, ha! When our 20th came around, I wanted to go all-out on a setting. I chose the stone because it is durable and, color-wise, resembles Amethyst, which is my husband’s birth stone. The dragons are because I love them, but also because they have a lot of personal meaning to me thorughout my life. We had a lot of dragon elements in our wedding, as well. The bridesmaid dresses had a phoenix and dragon pattern on them … we had a dragon on our wedding cake … and even our cake topper had dragons on it.

My center diamond is a 1.19 carat J VS1. On a size 9 finger. Not the best cut but it still sparkles a lot. Just got it back and repaired right after not being able to wear it for 2 years. Hubby designed it with the help of the local jewelry store and it’s perfect.

I absolutely love looking at all these gorgeous rings! They’re all so pretty! I don’t get any extra points but I’ll still share! This is my engagement ring with a transitional cut center and 2 OEC side stones. The center is .99ct and I believe the sides are .26 or.28 each? Too lazy to go get the paperwork but they’re somewhere around there, lol. This ring is my most treasured and loved piece of jewelry because my fiancé had it made for me and really wanted me to have something I loved. I sent him a bunch of designs that I liked, maybe 3 or 4 different styles, and he took some design elements from each. He had been carrying the ring around for over a month and waiting for the right time to propose, so when it randomly started snowing in GA back in Feb (not typical at all for where we are) he asked if I wanted to go walk by the river (we live next to a national park entrance) and then asked me while standing on the riverbank with huge flakes of snow falling everywhere and covering the ground. It was the happiest moment of my life to date and every time I look at my finger I remember that day and how grateful I am that we found each other. So mushy, but so true. He’s seriously the best and now that I know what being truly happy and in love with someone feels like, I can’t believe I ever settled for less. ❤️
