I am in need of a little strassing advice. I have a pair of off-white leather peeptoe pumps that I plan on strassing for my big day. I’ve done tons of research and think I’ve got a handle on how to do it but am at a loss as to which color I should strass. (so many amazing choices!!) I want my shoes to be an off-white/champagne color to match the vintage feel of my wedding dress. The colors I was thinking of strassing is moonlight, jonquil AB, or clear crystal or some combination of two or three.
Any suggestions as to how they would look? Has anyone strassed in these colors over a light nude/white shoe? If so what did they look like?
Thanks so much for ya’ll help! 🙂

While I’ve not used any of those colors for strassing shoes specifically, I’m not sure if any of them are quite the right off-white color you’re wanting. Moonlight is gorgeous, but does have a slight blueish tint to it at certain angles. As for the Jonquil AB, in my experience anything with an AB coating is usually very blue/green in person, with flashes of the actual crystal color. Clear crystal would be pretty, but maybe more white than you’re looking for?
What I can suggest for something different is maybe checking out the color Silk. Here is a post from Redo My Shoe where he used this color and they look gorgeous!
I wish you the best of luck, and I’m sure that whatever color you choose your shoes will be beautiful! 😀
