So i have the ultimate question for summer brides…
How or what are you plans to keep your skin glowing and healthy? I know that since i have a sweatheart shape dress im going to have to go with a strapless bathing suite because i personally think tan lines will look tacky while your in a wedding dress. and then i always remember in the summer after getting tan my skin peels.. (ew, i know) so i want to know the steps you are taking to make sure that your skin looks great and beats the stress of the sun this summer for your big day!

I’m not until next summer, but I’m in two weddings this summer and have to keep the décolletage looking pretty for bridesmaids dresses. My plan is LOTS of sunscreen and LOTS of oil free moisturizer!

I’m doing my best to stay OUT of the sun at all costs. I burn very easily and often get a rash from sun exposure. I figured my best defense against weirdo skin would be to try and keep it as pale as it currently is, since at least it’s even 🙂
I will be spraying my favorite sunblock on for the wedding though. Between our ceremony outside and pictures, I’ll need it.

I know right now I won’t be able to stay away from the pool before the wedding! I have a bandeau 1-piece that I think I will pull the straps down (they are very thin spaghetti straps) when I lay out. I’m also going to pick up my LUSH regimine to get my skin ready! =)

I am staying out of the sun!!!People laugh with me, but I know I’m doing good about it!

I am very fair-skinned, so I also plan to stay out of the sun. I just started worrying a bit lately about what to do the day of the wedding to avoid sunburn during the ceremony/pictures! I keep hearing SPF looks bad in photos and I don’t want to smell like sunscreen, but I don’t want to look like a lobster later either!

@disneybride11: Avoid the sun (it’s bad for you anyway!!!).
I’m not sure of your natural skin color but Jergen’s lotion with tint is amazing. I use it every other day and people swear I am naturally dark. They have two options for color to choose from and it will leave you with the glow you want (minus tan lines, peeling, streaking, orange color and most of all cancer).

<3 the bandeau.
staying out of the sun as much as possible since I burn in under 15minutes. Lots of water, a good moisturizer and a gentle exfoliater to keep the skin looking good.

Well, since I live in Bermuda, not much I can do about avoiding the sun. I’ve bought several bandeau tops though and lots of sunscreen, especially for my face!! I’ve begun a (sorta) strict face wash/exfoliate/tone/eye cream/face cream daily that is going pretty well. It’s tough and I’m trying to grow my nails out, but I just took an exam last week and off they went!!

Im an nurse on a pediatric oncology ward, so tanning beds are out and not even an option for me! Im going to avoid the sun, use lots of sun block, and to get that glow im going to either use a tanning lotion (jergins or something) or go to a salon and get spray tanned.
