FutureMrsHitBee:  I have tattoos, but not many. I have a large one on my side that comes up to my shoulder blade and I am not really concerned that part of it may show at the top of my dress. I also have a wrist and foot tattoo that won’t be covered up. I am actually planning to wear Converse shoes under my dress but only draw back is my tattoo will be hidden if I do. I love mine and have no shame. They are a part of me. If you got em’ show em’! I think brides with tattoos are stunning πŸ˜‰

I waited to start my half sleeve until after the wedding. I would’ve been fine with it, but for my parents sake and photos sake I guess. Plus I ended up incorporating wedding stuff into my sleeve so I’m kind of glad. But I did have a lot of little ones showing – my upper inner arm, my two wrist tattoos, one behind the ear, one on my shoulder. The rest were covered up by my dress.

I think all brides look gorgeous, tattooed or not. 2 years is a while from now, don’t wait if you don’t want to! πŸ™‚ What does your fiance think?

The only one I am considering covering up is on my upper back and it’s because I don’t like it and wish I’d never got it (NEVER let a 16 year old get a tattoo!!!). The ones I have that will show are small and on my wrists and I’m fine with that.

Yeah it was our altar! We got married in the desert, which we love, so it was a perfect way to commemorate both. Hoping to finish by the end of this year πŸ™‚ If your fiance is on board then I say go for it! My husband takes a while to come around and I think he liked that I waited until afterwards.

I wore a bolero and I totally regret it.

I covered but I have a lower back tattoo and is only seen when I have a bikini on. My Maid/Matron of Honor has an upper back tattoo and asked if she should cover. Of course not, it looked great!

Some guest pictures… I couldn’t imagine NOT having my tattoos show during my wedding.  Funny story – our officiant, a personal friend, found a way to sneak in mentioning a gigantic tattoo on my leg into our ceremony.

I only have 1 tattoo right now, however I will likely have 2 more completed before my wedding. But my 2 new tattoos will be on my side and won’t show.

If my hair is down it may cover a bit, but I am not purposely going to cover it. YES I got it at 16/17, no I do NOT regret it, it is very sentimental to me. I designed it in loving memory of my dog that suddenly passed, and my future tatoos will be for my pets as well.

My dad doesn’t know I have a tattoo.. oops πŸ˜›
