I think your tattoos are beautiful, and if I had the same ones, I wouldn’t cover them because I feel like my tattoos are part of me. I only have one tattoo that would actually show in a wedding dress (it’s on the webbing of my hand) and I have no plans to cover it up. I know other people feel differently about tattoos showing on wedding day, though.

Don’t cover them, they’re gorgeous and they need to learn to accept you for what you are.

I have tats too… I wouldn’t cover them up. If you want to look like yourself on your wedding day then you should keep them as they are.

Don’t cover them up, like a PP said, they’re part of YOU!  One of my BMs has large, visible-on-the-day-of tattoos and I can’t imagine asking her (or wanting her) to cover up.

2 of mine showed at the wedding, and all my BMs were tatted as well. I wouldn’t cover them up!

Covering them up will be like hiding part of who you are, rock them with pride!

I’ll be showing off the ones I have currently, and the sleeves I am planning on getting after I have the baby and before the wedding.

I’m having a pretty formal/traditional wedding (the theme isn’t traditional, but the whole church ceremony and all) and you better believe my corny off the wall black widow on my shoulder will be shown! lol I’m actually planning on getting a new tattoo FOR the wedding, so you can guess what I voted!

I don’t think you should cover them, they are a part of your body!

Ok, maybe not a popular opinion; but I don’t think there is any shame in covering tattoos; nor will you be any less “you” with them covered.

I have a large peice on my low back extending over my buttocks and wrapping down the side of my thighs.

I also have a very low-cut-back dress (nearly bum cleft level), and when I wear it I use concealer over the visible portion of my tattoo.   I have always felt that I’m very much still myself….  but both myself AND my ink are dressed differently from the everyday.

    I say show them!!

It only really matter if you are happy with them!

I have 3 swallows that go across my upper back and a star on the front of each of my shoulders! I wouldn’t think about covering them up even if i was asked…..

Only one of mine will be showing, and probably only part of it depending on how my hair covers or doesn’t.  I’m not covering it up.  I think it depends on what it is, if you still love it and also how you feel about it being in your photos.

I think it would be a little weird if you always show them and then all of a sudden they’re not there.  Personally I’d think that people would talk more about that than if they were showing.

Besides, you can always have your Fiance photoshop them out of some of your pics if you want too!  Those ones you can give to your mother! I you want to show them, ROCK THEM!

I have two. The one on my ankle will obviously be covered by my dress, but I have a large one between my shoulder blades that will partially show below my hair. I am not covering it up. It’s a part of me! So I vote no to covering yours up. However, if you do decide to cover them, I hear Kat Von D makes  tattoo cover up makeup that is awesome. You can get it at Sephora.
