@sheepandbear:  oh and I forgot to say that the etsy seller I got my veil from is in Austin which I thought was neat; I saw you’re in Dallas (I’m in Houston)…I thought it was cool!

I had my veil custom made to cover my incredibly long train. It was edged and covered with s crystals. I chose this design because it was gorgeous and elegant.

@sheepandbear:  thank you so much!! That means a lot! A lot of hard work, time, and tears went into planning so it’s nice to see people actually liked everything I put together haha. Since you’re in Texas, if you need any recommendations for any vendors I can gladly recommend any of mine… they were all AWESOME!

I wanted a “veil” that didn’t cover my dress.

I was originally going for an elbow length veil, then fell in love with a two tier veil, cathedral and blusher. My mum is going to change the edging and place Swarovski crystals around the edge as they are already scattered on both veils.

I’m so excited and can’t wait to see it finished.

I knew I wanted something different and fun- when I bought my gown I tried on several veils and felt like they all just…hung there. I wanted volume. Also my gown is form fitted and flairs at the bottom, so it emulates that flair.

I went with a very simple fingertip veil. I didn’t want it to take away from all the detail and beading on my dress.
