You need to upgrade the paper. What is included definitely feels flimsy.

brittnamrogo :  I would go with matte.  That’s what we used and I thought they came out really nice, and are definitely thick enough.  I have heard that the linen is a bit flimsy.

brittnamrogo :  I did the regular matte paper. They’re beautiful and not flimsy at all. I’d say that they have similar weight to an index card or cardstock. It didn’t look cheap (and I’m OCD about things looking cheap). Colors were vibrant and beautiful.

    Good luck!

brittnamrogo :  i’d upgrade to the thickest cardstock they offer – but not the linen. the linen is quie thin (i ordered a sample kit from them, which includes a linen and it was underwhelming). the regular matte is also quite thin. we did our holiday cards through vistaprint and upgraded to the extra thick matte cardstock, and it was on par with the standard cardstock that other online stationers use (WPD, Minted, Paperless Post).

We used the card stock and it was fine.

    No one really cares.

My step daughter drew a picture of us on our wedding day and we used that as our invitation. The colors were fine. But I’d also rather spend my money on things other than an invitation that no one will keep.

I used whatever paper was included in the price and it was fine.  But, we’re having a very casual wedding in a park, so I was concerned that fancy invitations would give people the wrong idea.

Mine was the basic and just felt like cardstock… I never gave it any thought at all. The color was great, the printing looked fine and lets face it, most will go in the trash anyway, so longevity is a non-issue either way. Don’t sweat it!

We did the basic-included matte paper. Cardstock weight, everything shows  up just as vibrant as the pictures, absolutely no complaints.

I’ve also received them as invitations many times. I think they’re great.

Another vote for regular paper. I’m taking the money I saved on my invites and buying extra wine XD

I got my invitations there with regular cardstock and they seemed very nice, in my opinion.

brittnamrogo :  Another vote for the matte cardstock! I loved the way mine came out! I just wanted to let you know that they frequently have 40% off sales. One just ended like 2 days ago and another is probably around the corner!
