I used vistaprint for my Save-The-Date Cards. Loved them. So I ordered the free sample kit for invitations. Has anyone else noticed that the cards aren’t the size they say they are? My 5×7 is really 4 8/16 x 7 1/8. and the 5.5 x 4 is 5.5 x 4 1/4. Printing wise, they look correct (no off-center text indicating maybe they were cut funky or some such)
I don’t really care, except I don’t want to use the envelopes they provide. So my real question is this- If you ordered your invitations from Vistaprint, did they fit in different envelopes (read: were they the actual size they said they would be?)

we got our Save-The-Date Cards through vistaprint and ordered the 5×7 size. We ordered A7 linen envelopes sized 5.25 x 7.25 and they were a perfect fit.

I had this same question, and like PP said, the 5X7 envelopes worked fine. Granted, I only put the STD in, so I am not sure what will happen with aadding multiple cards in (e.g. invitation).

I also bought the A7 envelope. The invitations fit, but it was a bit snug. I thought about just using the ones it came with since the A7 was a bit tight, but I really didnt like the envelopes. I had three cards in it, the 5×7 invite, a 4×6 info card and an RSVP card. For the RSVP I ordered the 5×7 & just cut it in half (I designed my own invites). Cutting it made it cheaper.

I noticed this and I even called Vistaprint to make sure I wasn’t crazy. I ordered the “5×7” invitations and they were swimming in my custom-dyed 5×7 envelopes I ordered from another vendor. Wasn’t the end of the world, but I did feel some type of way that I’d bought special fancy envelopes only to have it appear as though I settled for the “wrong” size.
