I got married in Marshfield (not where I live) in an old Church that is now an art center–still has the chapel, etc. its a pretty small venue but it was rad.

La Crosse has lots of beautiful churches and outdoor locations.

Door Co of course—but that is Suuuuper expensive–

I had a problem deciding where to get married…  I grew up in Shawano, my Fiance in the Richland Center and Madison area and we live in the Milwaukee area.

I looked around Milwaukee and decided that the price around here were scarry and didn’t find anything that floored me (well, nothing I could afford).  So we are getting married at the Shawano County Park Pavillion in Shawano.  (soo much more affordable than anything in the MKE area).

In the MKE area I think that some of the places I looked into were the Milwaukee Public Market (yes, you can have your reception there…  the rental was only $500, but i’m assuming the food was expensive!), and Old World Wisconsin in the Walworth? area (beautiful, but too much $) and Schlitz Auboubon Nature center in Brown Deer (very beautiful, but too much $).

Good Luck!

Also If you are looking for a less traditional venue, my cousin got married at Homestead Meadows near Appleton.  It was a beautiful venue and there wedding was awesome!

We are having a small wedding and it will be held at Comfort Suites in Oak Creek. I have the ballroom but it will be sectioned in two, for our ceremony and reception. I hear the dells has nice places and also heard alot of good reviews on Country Springs.

If you’re still considering Green Bay, I would have loved to have our wedding at either Heritage Hill or the Botanical Gardens. Both have weddings and are absolutely gorgeous, but they were outside of our budget. The people we talked to there were super friendly, too!

I’ve not been to or know anyone who got married at Enchanted Barn, but I would book it based off the pictures alone. It’s an absolutely gorgeous venue.
