Do you mind me asking where you girls got your bras from?  I’m concerned because the back is lower on finding a bra that does not show, and also something that is supportive.  I am a 32 DD.

jwalmsley:  I haven’t found anything. I have a victoria secret one but it showed…….that’s part of why I am getting straps. I wanted them to add cups but they said they wouldn’t help…..

HELP! I’ve been swooning over Olivia since this thread got started. I am finally engaged after 7 years of dating 🙂

I am going to try on the dress in two weeks. I called 27 different salons in a three hour radius that carry wtoo and I was about to give up hope, but the last place I called has one!!  However, they only have an ivory sample. . .

I love the oatmeal color in all of the pictures I have seen of the dress (minus the stock photo). I tried on Watters Palm Springs which is also available in oatmeal, and that color was a very peachy tan color and looked AWFUL on my skin. I looked naked!  Is it really that color in Olivia as well or are watters oatmeal and wtoo oatmeal different?

One other problem, my bridesmaids are going to be wearing a burgandy/wine color and groomsmen will be wearing navy blue. Will those clash with oatmeal and I should go with ivory anyway?  Eeeek!!!

dana0825:  I would say the gown photographs more blush than it is. The layers underneath the dress are a soft blush pink and the tulle on top is champaigne or tan. I didn’t think it was peachy, but my mom said it once. It totally depends on the lighting! It’s not super pink though and is more tan than photographs show most if the time. Does that help???

i have seen the olivia with blue suits and it’s beautiful! I’ve also seen pictures with burgundy bridesmaids and it is stunning!

let us know how it goes!!!

That does help as far as maids and groomsmen,  thanks! Hopefully they’ll have a swatch or another wtoo dress in the same color so I know what to order. . . Or I just assure I am tan before the wedding haha. I will keep yo updated and post pics once I can/if the salon allows it!

dana0825:  I believe the oatmeal color is more blush along with the antique color, which is what I picked for my olivia Wtoo gown.  The antique color is darker and more pinker than the oatmeal.  Talk to the bridal shop if you really love the oatmeal, you should be able to order it in that color an if for some chance you don’t like it when it comes in you could order it in ivory instead.  I think navy and burgundy will look beautiful with the oatmeal or ivory, which ever you choose.

i talked to my mom again and she thanks it totally has a peach element but a very light peach….I have to say I purchased it second hand sight unseen and the colour suprised me as I thoguht it would be more blush. It’s oatmeal for sure with hints of soft blush and beige/tan/champaigne. I’m a little worried if you didn’t like oatmeal on the Watters dress you might be disappointed. I’ll try to find/take a picture of what I think is most accurate……..

I’m thinking maybe because the Watters dress was all the same fabric/color, maybe it was a darker peach? However online it looks blush as well.  Somewhere in this thread is the picture that watters sent as the oatmeal reference and it looks so much lighter; it probably depends on the lighting as well. Store lighting probably makes everthing a little darker and with a yellow-tinge depeding on the lightblubs they have.  My wedding is outdoor, so it will get hit by natural sunlight.

I’m so torn. I just don’t think the dress has the same wow factor in Ivory. It’s still beautiful, but it’s not the dress I fell in love with however many years ago.  I will defineitly ask the salon if I order in oatmeal and am unhappy what could be done.  Thank you so much gals! 🙂

Promise I’m not trying to be weird,  but this is a bra that I have that I think may be the same or similar color. The top is in full sunlight, nothing else. The second picture is in my bathroom so a mix of natural and artificial light. I’m thinking that’s probably what happens with Olivia.  I’m probably being crazy about looking naked anyway lol. I’m very pale, but with olive undertones, not red/pink like most other pale ladies.
