vertabella : that’s so beautiful and unique! Did you have it custom made?

I just love this thread and can’t wait to add pics of my new upgrade!
walkerwilkins : 😱 That’s stunning! What are the specs? What is the setting?
hopestruck : thank you! I love it, my fiancé did such a good job. It is a 3.25 carat elongated cushion cut. Vs1, color g, 4 prong basket setting in platinum. Ring is size 5.
I’ve been drooling over this thread for the past 3 months and now I can participate. Here’s mine!!
walkerwilkins : beautiful diamond!
walkerwilkins : holy crap! That’s amazing. What kind of band are you going to wear with it?
Here are my original pretties. Amora Moissanite solitaire in a palladium 4-prong setting with matching plain band. Upgrade (James Allen Falling Edge Halo) should arrive on Thurs. 😁
I just love “ring porn”!
hopestruck : Beautiful! I am a big solitaire fan. I actually had a round solitaire in mind and he got my cushion instead, but I can’t complain. Can’t wait to see the upgrade also!
hopestruck : I’m really not sure about the band, we are actually going to look for bands this weekend. I don’t want anything that will take away from the e-ring. Advice?
walkerwilkins : I agree with you. I would keep it low profile and something that doesn’t compete for attention. My best advice (after trying out a gazillion options) would be to try on as many as you can, and take photos. I could see it with a plain band, or maybe something with subtle design like a twisted/braided band or tiny pave set 🙂
hopestruck : It’s not a custom design, but we did pick out the stone 🙂 It was from Alexis Russell’s jewelry studio. She has all sorts of beautiful rustic cut diamonds in every color!
