sydneybee4 :  The halo accent diamonds are F/G SI1 in that ring. You should be fine. I hope you love your ring.

I am expecting my j color triple x round diamond in a round halo any day now. I upgraded my ring from a h color round. The jeweler assured me that because it is an excellent cut triple x diamond that it will show less color especially face up.i hope we both love our j!

I do love it! It sparkles like crazy. I was expecting the Halo stones to be a little bigger but I am now thinking I like that they are smaller, they accent the center Stone nicely and so does the thin band. I don’t regret the J at all. The first pic was in the evening in my house. This pic is outside during the day and a side view

Bakingbee01 :  The most color you will see will be from the side. I do think that the jewelry industry is kind of ridiculous when it comes to color in diamonds. There are so many beautiful lower colored diamonds out there but people are afraid to buy them because of the stigma that the industry encourages, as though lower color diamonds are inferior. The reality is that no one is going to look at your J color diamond and say anything other than it’s beautiful.

sydneybee4 :  I can’t wait to see your stone! I dont think I mentioned in our last convo but I’m getting a J and my plan is to put it in a halo as well! My stone should be here next week and I’ll post mine as well once I have it 🙂
