RedheadMeggs:  I think my dress was considered ivory, but it sure looked white to me! I’m not uber redheaded, but I thought it looked pretty and I’m super fair skinned. I also don’t really pay attention to all that so I might not be the best judge. Go Red!

RedHeadKel:  🙂 So white is a possibility lol! I’d really prefer white honestly. For a natural ginger I’m actually pretty tan this year so it might look good! I’ll post pics in August when we go try on dresses!

Another redhead with blue eyes – all of the dresses I tried on in champagne tones received a lot of compliments. I ended up with a dress in ivory with champagne details. I think if you have a pinker skin tone, keeping the color creamy will look lovely.

Redhead with blue eyes here. I went with ivory because the dress I loved was ivory, but i tried on a few white dresses and they looked really nice still. Though they were always a warmer white, so I would try on some mint green before getting your heart set. But it could look beautiful in the right tone!

I’m a redhead with dark green eyes, pale skin and a ton of freckles!I ended up buying a white dress (tons of tulle an lace). I have always loved wearing white and my hubby-to-be loves it too:). Most ivory and darker whites completly wash me out and the result is not very pretty, lol. Also, I agree Mint Green looks great on MOST red heads. My best friend is a also a red head and it is interesting to see how different our hair is! She has blue eyes and pale skin that gets a hint of color. I have to be careful with pastels and warm tones. I can pull off a salmony pink, but that is it. My BF, she can pretty much wear anything and it does not wash her out or clash with her hair! Good luck!

My daughter is a red head, she is two if that matters but she wore a mint green dress with a white lace overlay to my soon to be brother in laws wedding. I think it would be a beautiful color choice!

Pale redhead here with hazelish/brown eyes!  I don’t have a photo, but my dress is ivory also.  White looks terrible on me and I did try on a white dress or two, which washed me out and did not compliment my skin.  I think skin tone can be a big factor in the dress coloring, but that’s my two cents 🙂

Green-eyed redhead here!  I haven’t tried on dresses recently, but did several years ago.  White totally washed me out but ivory looked great (I have no pictures, long story short I didn’t end up needing a wedding dress.)  We’ll have to see what I end up with once I start trying stuff on but my guess is it will be ivory

I chose a white dress and it looks great I do believe. Best to try on some and see what looks best with your colouring

I am a strawberry blonde and I chose an ivory dress.  I don’t believe the shop carried any white samples, although I tried on a couple of light gold dresses. Both colors looked fine, but it wasn’t anything I really thought about.

I’m a very pale red head with green eyes. My dress is a vibrant harvest yellow. Mint green would look awesome. I’m all for out-of-the-box. When I went dress shopping I tried on ivory white and champagne. The white washed me out. The warmer colors all looked better.

Auburn with dark brown eyes and olive skin.  Yes, I am a freak of nature.  I am wearing a champagne dress.

I’m a redhead and I picked an ivory dress. Here is a pick of me trying it on…

I’m a redhead with green eyes and pale skin.  I haven’t purchased, or even tried on, dresses.  I plan to sew my own dress, and I don’t really want to try on dresses beforehand because I don’t want to fall in love with something else.  I’m having a really hard time deciding between white and ivory fabric to buy.  When I wear pure white clothes, I think they look quite good actually.  I don’t have any ivory clothes, but I feel like the slightly darker shades actually wash me out more than white.  With white, I get more contrast between the fabric and my skin, which I think looks good.  Maybe it’s my undertones?  I can never figure out what they are.

I guess I get a little frustrated that anytime people mention pale skin or red hair it’s automatically “oh no!  Don’t get white!  It will wash you out.”  Maybe that’s often true, but it bothers me to be told that so dismissively, just like “don’t wear pink or red” or orange or yellow or basically any color.  People don’t tell people with other hair colors what to wear or not wear.  I’m apparently more defensive about this than I thought.

Sorry, I’m not much help.  But I’m definitely interested in the responses.
