Hey everyone,
I am looking for a bunch of rustic decor such as log slices for centerpieces, signs, props anything rustic or campy for my theme. Where did you girls get yours? I know there are places to get some from recycled wedding sites where a bride sells their wedding decor after the wedding but I haven’t had any luck with brides getting back to me. Even here in the classifieds. What did you do?

I think a lot of those things people make themselves… but i’d look in craft stores. I’ve seen wood slices at michaels in their wood crafts section. They also have lots of wood/burlap/tin items.

CrazyCatLadyandCo: When I have needed log slices, I just phone up a local arborist and ask them if I can have some branches when they are pruning or taking down a tree. One of the guys is usually more than happy to cut them into slices on their lunch or coffee break.
I do decorating for non-profit fund raising events. When I tell themm what it’s for they are happy to contribute. I’m sure they would do the same for a bride.
Have you checked http://www.adhuntr.com ? It lists all Craigslist ads on all sites. You can narrow down the results by geographic area.

I’m making all that stuff. What exactly are you looking for? “Rustic” means many things to many people.
