I’m a June 7th bride.

Here’s what I’ve done (I think):

– ceremony/reception venue booked

– band booked

– florist booked and discussed design

– photographer booked

– videographer booked

– cake booked and prelim design

– caterer booked and menu chosen

– everything I’m wearing chosen, bought, and altered

– tuxes picked out but not reserved

– Save-The-Date Cards designed and sent

– website complete for now (will add more stuff later though)

– invitations designed and purchased

– registries complete for now (will add more stuff later)

– Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses chosen and bought

– MOB and MOG dresses bought

– prelim blocking of hotel rooms

– honeymoon purchased!

– wedding night hotel reserved

– booked wedding coordinator

– ordered and engraved wedding bands

– ordered cake topper

Left to do:

– rehearsal dinner

– choose cake flavors

– Bridesmaid or Best Man dress alterations and shoes

– pick ceremony music (appt in February with organist)

– get tuxes for the men

– book makeup and hair appts

– send out invitations (probably mid-March since most people will be traveling)

– buy gifts

– purchase alcohol

– book bartenders since we’re providing our own alcohol

– book transportation

– finish favors (a CD we’re recording since we’re both musicians)

– Out of Town bags

– reserve rentals/figure out number of tables, chairs, etc.

I would like to have most things figured out by March 20th, which is when FH and I find out where we’re moving (Match Day for his residency program). So April and May will be full of house-hunting, packing, and a big cross-country move. It’s going to be crazy but totally worth it.
