I think it really depends on your personal taste–all of us bees are split, check out your poll.

Go to the store and try them on together.

You can’t go wrong with any of the ones you found.

@ Oribel013690 I want that band!!!  They don’t make it in my size but I think it is absolutely beautiful!!!  I’m trying to have one custom made.  Let me know how it looks in person!

I have a round solitaire (sorry, I don’t have a picture). I chose to go with a plain platinum.

When I spoke with my jeweler about the options with diamonds, she pointed out that chanel settings are nice because the diamonds won’t scratch the band of the engagement ring. Also, for chanel settings, she recommend square or emerald cut diamonds, the round diamonds get dirty very quickly due to the all the space between the stones.

@froydis: I think we are ring twins! I’m sorry I don’t have a pic to post, but it’s seriously the exact same as yours.

Also, I voted for the plain band. My Mom’s engagement ring is almost identical to mine/yours, and she wore a plain band with it for 30 years before she went and got something else. I really liked the simplicity and significance of the plain band, and it really allowed the center stone to “pop” without any distractions. I think I will go the same route when it comes to ordering my band.

    Just my $.02

Personally – I went on what seemed to be a never ending spree to find my wedding band. I finally found one I LOVE. My ring is a 6 prong 5/8 carat solitaire and it sits up a little higher, and it also has a cure to the band, so no bands looked right, no guards fit – until I found this one and I LOVE it – it looks like two rings, not just a solitaire with a guard making it look like a past, present, and future ring. But pick what makes you happy to look at all the time!!!!

At first i thought i wanted a plain band too. but i found that the curved rings really goes well with a solitaire. and i love the extra bling! hehe

I vote #4! Sorry for the bad picture…it’s with my cell phone when I was trying on my wedding band.  I am getting one with diamonds that only go half way around the ring.

I chose a diamond channel set band. It looks great, the diamonds are in there nice and good and it sits flush with my ring. I love it

I have a round sapphire in a square halo setting and went with a pave band to match the halo.
