@acciotoni:  It’s gorgeous, and you look PERFECT in it!! I already have my dress, but yours looks somewhat similar! Detail on the neckline and hip, and the ruching… ๐Ÿ™‚

I was unsure of how my photos would come out but I am OBSESSED with them. Our photographer was able to capture our joy and everything else fell by the wayside. My dress was beautiful and that was captured, but my armfat and doublechin were captured too but not as big of a deal because we were so happy. Does that make sense? Once the day comes, enjoy getting married to your love and being surrounded by your favorite people and the photos will reflect that. Here are a few of us on our day:

Size 16 wedding dress. I love how my pictures came out. I was so nervous I would have a double chin and arm fat in every shot, but I didnt. Happiness and love over takes all those silly worries on the big day.

I love your dress and jacket and a size 18UK is gorgeous! you are going to look amazing. I was a size 16US when I got married and I rocked it ๐Ÿ˜€

oh and if you are not comfortable showing your arms then wear the jacket the whole time. i know people usually say to embrace it but honestly, you know yourself well and if you are uncomfortable with your arms then hide them and bring attention to your other attributes (face, waist, chest, etc) ๐Ÿ˜€

I wear 20/22 and my dress is an 18.

I’m not married yet, so this is me in the sample at the store. My dress still needs the alterations made!

I just wanted to say everyone who has posted so far looks absolutely stunning. Never be ashamed of your curves. Im a street size 12/14 with a large chest (36 F). I was very worried about going dress shopping. My advice is to just have fun and try not to stress if you don’t fit into the small sample sizes! You will find something you love!! Below is the dress I chose (corsets work wonders!)

I just ordered my dress today!  I’m a street size 18 and I ordered an 18W but it will have to be taken in a bit around the chest.  It’s a Galina from David’s Bridal and it is SO FUN which is exactly what I wanted!  Pictures really don’t do it justice either… it’s so pretty in person ๐Ÿ™‚
