Now I can add mine since I’m on my home computer.  I’m a pear shape and street size 8-12 depending on the store.  Here I am in the size 12 sample; I ordered a 14, though.

I ordered the Pronovias Bermeo in a size 12 (my measurements were almost exactly perfect!) Not a very good picture (my mom is not a photographer =P ) but it is everything I wanted! I can’t wait for my first fitting =)

I wear a size 8/10 and ordered a size 10 dress. In my picture I am wearing a size 12 and it was too big.

Here’s my issue..I’m very small chested, I wear a 32B….and I have quite wide low hips, large upper thighs (cellulite unfortunately), and some defineit junk in the trunk. So when looking at size charts i’m like a 10/12 in the hips..and like 4 in the chest! it’s pretty much laughable to me. Don’t misundertsnad me, i’m very happy with my body and feel beautiful. These birthing hips make me who I am and my Fiance loves me the way I am 🙂 But what size do I buy?! I guess the size that fits the biggest part of me and then alter the heck out of it. The hard part is that the dresses that look good on pear shapes are the ballgowns, a-lines and basially anything thats huge on the bottom so as to cover your figure with tons of fabric, but I don’t want to cover them up! I feel like all these strapless dresses that are super popular will just make my upper half look even smaller in proportion! What do you bees think about a V-neck soft A-line? Pic below (of another bride)…i feel like all the fabric on top and the sleeve things balance out the width on the bottom. Do i dare? It’s a vera wang from DB on sale for $550 right now which I love. Advice?
