seems like bridal is like 2 times smaller, geez i can’t believe you have to order so much bigger
5’11” about 148lbs, street size 6-8 depending, bridal size 10. Augusta Jones dress 🙂
First of all, ladies, you are all gorgeous!
And I must say, you have fabulous taste! You really know what compliments your fabulous figures!
Second of all, I’m glad I stumbled across this thread, because I was wondering what brides my size did as far as ordering dresses in what sizes. I’m learning that every designer is very different, though!
I’m 5’6, 130-135lbs, street size 8. When I was getting fitted for bridesmaid dresses, I was told that I was a size 8 on the bottom but a size 6 on top, but I have a “big rib cage”!
I looked at that lady like
Bitch please.
Sorry my bones are too big for you.
Lovely dresses everyone! I can’t wait to see more! I really love the fitted, ruched styles! 😀
I didn’t buy either one of these dresses but I figured I’d share them anyway since my size is similar to what you want to see. I’m 5’5″, 167 lbs, street size 10/12, 38D. Both dresses were size 12 from David’s Bridal. The first one is Oleg Cassini, the second is White by Vera Wang.
I am a street size 31 or 12… Ordered Maggie Sottero size 12 to fit my 36DD better (this is size 10)
I’m a size 12, my dress is a size 12. It is Jean Fox ‘Grace’. I’m 6′ tall and fairly curvy. (My sizes are Australian, I can never remember if they correlate to bigger or smaller sizes in the US)
5’2″ and about 138-140 lbs here (dress is a sample – maggie size 12 (they ordered me a 10))
5’2″ (in heels and 4″ platform) and maybe 134 lbs
