I have  half sleeve and wanted a dress with sleeves.

But I found a strapless dress I love.  I think we got that tattoos we have because they are a part of us.  They time stamp our journey.  Own it sister!

I didn’t cover mine and he didn’t cover his either. They are a part of your body, so why hide them just because it’s your wedding day?

I have full sleeves and husband has one. They’re a huge part of us and and we didn’t cover them up.

I just wish mine had been finished, but it’s okay! ๐Ÿ˜€

I have 4 tattoos (and will probably  have 5 by the time of our wedding) and two will be showing at the wedding: the one on my upper back and the one on my left arm. The one on my back is my first and I designed it. The one on my arm is a different story…. it is from my first marriage. (Yes i know… big mistake. But I was only 18. Live & learn!) I’ve had it altered but not covered. I asked my fi if it was going to bother him during the ceremony and his answer was a sincere no. He said that tattoo is a part of my past and a part of me and he’s not ashamed. I’m a little insecure of it due to what it’s from, so I will probably stand to where that arm is not facing the crowd during the ceremony….

I do have a friend who has several and it didn’t bother anyone but her mom. It bothered her mom so much that her mom paid for an extra set of all the formal engagement and wedding photos with her tattoos photoshopped out! It seriously broke my friends heart…

I just started my half sleeve last month, and it will be completed by my wedding ๐Ÿ™‚  I also have a tattoo on the back of my neck and a large one down the side of my back (I have more than that, but that’s all that will be visible).  I don’t have a wedding dress yet, but I’m excited to go shopping for one in less than two weeks!!!  AHHH!!!

For my wedding my tattooes will not be covered at least not all of them by the time my wedding comes around I’ll have a sleeve and chest piece also for my reception my current thigh tattoos won’t be covered either! And I don’t have my dress yet but after the 1st when I go shopping and looking I’ll be posting photos ๐Ÿ™‚

I haven’t found a dress yet but I think I’ll be focusing on the dress and not my tattoo. I don’t want to hide it but I’m not going to choose something based on showing it off either.

I just have a little tattoo – but I chose the dress based on the dress, not whether I’d cover or not cover the tattoo.

I don’t have any tattoos but Fiance has a LOT. His can’t be covered up (neck, hands), so you will see them even in a suit. We’ve been together 6 years so my family has seen him before and it’s not a big deal anymore (took a while though).

i didnt cover mine for photos. but i did try to cover it for the ceremony…. i wish i would have left it alone. it never got covered all the way, just muttled the color and in some of the flash photography you can see this brairing light colored swirl on my back where it reflected the light. my mother hates my tattoo that is why i tried to play it down some for the ceremony. my tattoo has little to no meaning to me. i got it on a whim when i got out on my own. some day i will cover it with pink flowers and horseshoes. something that reflects me, not the partier me with my glow in the blacklight ink lol.
